Leaving the Tokugawa residences headed his way into the streets while deeply thinking unbothered by his body covered in wounds.
He had changed his clothes along the way as his previous clothes had been torn by his opponent's blade. The wounds were still fresh along with the sensation of being cut and how it was child's play.
Miyamoto only acknowledged him as a warrior but not an opponent which made him hold back by a large margin.
He felt frustrated by this fact and grew distant from the world while emanating a vicious aura around him that caused those that he passed by to feel shaken and quivering.
Repeatedly, the question was what made his blade so sharp and precise that he was able to keep up with his blade style. He knew the history of Miyamoto who had after finishing his duel spree retired and wrote his sword style and principle along with his profound philosophy.
Their blade clashes could not be compared to anyone that he had fought before. Every time their blade crossed the sensation felt akin to being cut even though he had parried.
He scoured through his mind trying to repeat how a man could achieve a level of skills that person was only a mortal human.
The deeper he understood what is the essence of a blade, his senses sharper like a blade and stances that can decide which to cut and night.
Caelum devoured the essence of the blade and turned his body into one. To see a bladed weapon you would immediately understand what it does to the body of a person.
It has a long list of cutting, slicing, cleaving, decapitation, stabbing, pierce, etc. This is the nature of the blade even the simple chicken knife has the purpose of cutting flesh.
Even how meager that blade is, these principles of how blade function is always present even one just looking at them. Caelum processing everything at a rapid pace enlightens and etches the essence of the blade into his existence.
It did not take him long to arrive at the park where there were few people and decided to contemplate the incident there. He sat down on one of the benches while deeply concentrating to solidify his enlightenment.
Those onlookers who were about to pass momentarily stopped and felt their bodies would slice to pieces if they were to go across.
Within Caelum mindscape endless pieces of the blade that displayed across the horizon observing every single blade weapon memorizing their sensation and what their function was.
He only sat at the center of it all without doing anything but observing every bladed weapon. It was akin to uncovering the hidden meaning of a painting trying to find what the stroke of the brush felt and the emotion that came from it.
The process took two hours in real-time while 200 years were in his mind. He gradually turned his body into a blade itself and the principle of what makes a blade.
It was forging a new third blade into existence. The two blades within his spatial ring reacted violently, finally having them become a whole.
If the two blades represent Yin and Yang then Caelum represents the two as a whole. Everything grew sharper and precisely similar to the blade from his mind to his senses as a whole.
Whoosh!!
His wound was healed but the right eye remained due to taking it as a reminder to continue training his skills until he could surpass that man.
Caelum's prowess grew, attaining the Middle level of Great Grandmaster. He did not stop and breakthrough his Myriad Blade Style reached the Half Success Stage.
This causes the surroundings to receive minor cuts that instantly slight every falling leaf to pieces without even holding a blade. It was completely different than an Intent of simply wanting to slice and cut someone.
This was more refined and profound than simple intent. It was higher than the intent itself. Fundamentally, Caelum can do the same as Miyamoto. The one who can decide which to cut and which not.
He exhaled before opening his eyes before touching his wounded eye, removing the bandage and revealing a scar from a cut that Miyamoto gifted him.
No one would believe that the wound had been recently cut as it appeared to be a scar that had long been healed.
Caelum did not mind the wound and decided it would be far better to roam the street to better clear his mind. He went into the streets once again until arriving at a nearby cafe and decided to grab one.
He went inside and those around were taken aback seeing the horrid scar on his face. Though they were curious, they did not stay for long afraid of provoking him as Caelum had a wild look.
"W-What do you like for today, sir?"
"Just give me your strongest coffee."
"Coming right up!"
Caelum nodded, turned to find a seat only to frown and realize the cafe was full, and only spotted a single middleman who had his comb back wearing a simple suit while busily typing on his laptop. He felt compelled to approach him and decided to do so.
"Excuse but is the seat taken? Do you mind me sitting here until I get my order?"
The man turned to face him flinching at his appearances analyzing his appearances. He seemed to be someone foreign in this country and did not understand his words. Caelum took a moment to scan his features until finding that the man was Korean.
"Sorry, you probably didn't understand me."
"Wait, you're Korean as well?"
"No, I just know how to speak the language."
"Really now but the way you seem far too fluent. Oh, what was that said earlier?"
"I said if you mind me sitting here until I get my order."
"Is that so? Sure I don't mind. I'm Lim Cheolho and you are?"
"Caelum Mercer, it's nice to meet you Cheolho."
"Likewise."
Afterward, Lim Cheolho busily typed into his laptop growing even more frustrated every time he typed something on his computer. Caelum observed him seeing the keys he had been typing, concluding that he was a programmer.
He realizes that this is a great opportunity to find a way to create a game that could help make him stronger. Caelum began to copy the moment of Lim Cheolho to see what he was typing while fixing the error.
The countless viable places into the program that Lim cheolho is astonishing and could be called a genius in Caelum opinion.
Lim Chelho had been far too busy to notice until much later upon hearing the tapping noise and noticed the young man in front of him seemed to mimic his movement.
"What are you doing, young man?"
"Oh sorry I notice that you're doing programming and you know, I'm sort of a programmer myself."
He doubted the young boy would be able to understand the depth of knowledge that he's been researching and developing for the past few years.
Lim Cheolho dedicated his life to making a world where everyone could freely choose and do their advantage like how he wanted as a kid.
His company had already developed a Vr device that would have the game pre-installed once they finished the game and released to the public.
"Hmmm. aren't you a little young to be a programmer?"
"Yes, Yes I am."
[A/N: guess the reference]
Lim Cheolho wondered if the young man was telling him the truth as he appeared around a high school student. However, his gut told him to trust the young man and would lead him to his dream. He never wanted credit or money and only desired the world to share with everyone.
"Well then do you understand this code?"
He showed him the long list of countless complicated syntax placed in his compiler. It would make any expert programmer cry in the corner while contemplating their life.
Caelum took the laptop and began to move like those movie hackers encoding over a dozen new variables and more clean syntax. He added a few features in the algorithm and data structure along with improving the Ai capabilities.
It was not merely making a game but an entirely new world that is unpredictable and only moves when players are present. Caelum who had understood the Cause and Effect added the unpredictable variables into the AI.
Lim Cheolho witnessed his works dumbfounded and stood up to see his codes and perplexed how complicated yet precise they were. It made him realize what his game world lacked and turned to intently stare at Caelum who busily fixed the entire code.
'I need him for my company! He would be able to make my dream come true!!'
