A pause... Silence... I can't Breathe... My ears hear nothing, the breeze caresses my skin and yet... Nothing. 'Shut Your Eyes!!'... Lingering thoughts that just don't register... A scream... 'That's right, it’s my voice.'... They're killing him in front of me... The man I love is being ripped away from me, being ripped out of our world, being ripped out of my life. 'A hand? No, wait, that's my hand.'... My hand reaches for him but he's already gone. My head suddenly hit something hard... A bright white flash and the sound of bones crushing and flesh ripping was my last memory... I remember nothing after that, absolutely nothing... 'How did it get to this!?'... Maybe I should first explain just what and where it is happening... Explain why I am in such a damned mess...

Project Zelba

I sat watching as Alice and Alaric headed in their own directions. Alice into the cave and Alaric into the forest. If the shouting had been anything to go by then… Maybe…

"They broke up." Nicole whispered to me.

"So it would seem." I sighed. This was gonna be one heck of a pain to deal with.

"Nini, can Lily go play with Ally please?" Lilith squeaked from Nicole's lap fiddling with her tiny hands.

"Sure sweetheart. Are you worried about Ally and Alic?" Nicole cooed softly.

Lily nodded her response pouting cutely. "It's ok princess, they will be fine very, very soon, I promise." I smiled at her in hopes of relieving her worry.

Nicole let her off of her lap. Lily rushed into the cave as we watched her tiny figure disappear. Making sure she doesn't trip or get hurt.

"What happened? Did she maybe mention something to you before all this happened?" Looking over to her I searched for some sensible explanation for all the chaos.
