When I entered I was already inside a very large hall.
'Was the gate the main door? That must mean the palace was in an invisibility charm!'
I had thought that it was a defense spell.
Huge and spacious multi fire lit hall greeted me with five large sculpted pillars on my right and another five on my left, each about thirty feet tall and ten feet wide.
I looked up to see a very high ceiling which was dome in shaped and was sculpted from various precious stones which I've never seen on earth. They were designed to a shape of an animal similar to a dragon. Five majestic chandeliers float just below the ceiling and the largest one being in the middle each of them emitting golden light and the hall was more than hundred feet long and about fifty feet wide reaching the pillars and the floor was something similar to black tiles reflecting the light from the chandeliers above. The ten pillars respectively represented the ten worlds with blazes of different colored fire below the pillars.
Blue for Drikun.
Green for Merlin.
Violet for Varick.
Silver for Havio.
Red for Dasrio.
Black for Helleon.
Yellow for Ballisc.
And lastly orange for Earth.
The hall lead to an open large golden double door letting us view the series of people going to and fro while carrying documents and scrolls to which I can't see clearly since it is quite far away.
I'm still standing near the entrance of the grand hall. Groups of young people my age paused and gasping together as they whisper yelled "This is the Hall of Pillars!!"
Groups of people with similar clothing surrounded most of the pillars while in a very heated discussions about their history with other worlds….well except for 'earth' that is (laughs in a corner).
As I slowly walked and gawk around as much as I can, a girl ran past me her long brown hair dancing in a ponytail (she was carrying some tied up scrolls) but she head butts directly into a guy's chest who suddenly appeared in front of her and I slowed my paced so that I wouldn't become the human cushion for the girl.
I turn to my left and slowly walked past the both of them unknowingly listening to their conversation.
"Oh ! Sir I'm so sorry" a high pitch voice resonated.
"No need it was my fault to suddenly appear" the guy replied with a tired sign and dusting of his chest. The girl scrambles to the ground and gathers the scattered scroll and apologizes once again to which the guy just waved off and disappeared again. I was watching all that with my neck craned like a flamingo. After the guy disappeared the girl scolded herself and started lecturing about what she was here to do. Just as she finished her lecturing a hooded person walked past me and to such bad luck she bumps into that hooded person.
I internally shrug and turned my head to see the power couple from before walking in front just a few steps ahead of me. They were talking through their *ahem* body language to which I find it quite intimidating.
'I would never do that in public with my nonexistent boyfriend'
The black haired woman was quite alluring for some reason and I do not know the reason why? Since magic doesn't work on me. It didn't only affect me but others as well but they more affected than me.
I walked slowly as I observe the pillars and their fires.
One pillar in particular devoid of people gawking at it (other than earth).
Just by the looks of the pillar it sent an off limits vibes to me which I happily abided and walked ahead towards the open doors just about fifty steps or less away.
"What is that?" I heard the same high pitch voice and turn to see the ponytail girl looking at the off limit pillar. Black fire blazing below the pillar and 'HELLEON' was written on top of the pillar with other languages, some scripture was written below with a very disturbing moving figure of a being.
My eyes narrowed towards the girl who was inching closer to the pillar and lost her balance.
'What the hell is wrong with you girl!!'
Just when I nearly sprinted to save the girl a very familiar man saved her from getting burnt and scorched in the black fire.
'Blue albino? What's he doin- oh yeah he's the 1st lieutenant Alexander something'
I turned and quicken my walking pace remembering that I had to eat food after the registering in the 'Setter'.
3rd POV
The ponytailed girl quickly gave a flood of apologies upon realizing who had saved her.
'The 1st lieutenant of Drikun, Sir Alexander Blakewood!!'
But the blue haired man remained oblivious to the girl when he saw a familiar burgundy hair he turned to see only to be distracted by the high pitch apologies from the girl in front.
"Just be careful" he said as the brown haired girl looked up at him (she reached about his shoulder).
Her dark green orbs met his dusky silver orbs. His heart skipped a beat which was similar to what he felt with Cinne.
'Maybe she's a traveler too'
"Are you a traveler?" his usual monotone voice asked which sent shivers to the girl's back.
"N-no S-sir, I'm just a scholar who is lucky enough to accompany my teacher who is a traveler" she responds with some quiver in her voice.
The lieutenant nodded and made his way towards the exit to attend a meeting of officials while contemplating a little about what he felt before and did a mental note to write a recipe on how to cook the forelimbs of a dragon after the meeting.
Cinne was left speechless on how busy the second hall was in comparison to the Hall of pillars. Some people with pointy ears, while some with wings like birds and series of scrolls floating after one another. The hall somehow reminded her of a bank with lines of people standing behind a counter except that here it was doors.
The hot couple went up straight to a large red carpet stairs which parts from the middle leading to another floor whose doors are locked but opened when they reached and went in with a nod to the person inside.
'Might be the entrance for the Royals' she assumed that as her dancing eyes caught sight of an open door devoid of prople.
'Attendance Manager' was written on top along with other languages.
Braving herself she makes her way there.
Upon knocking two times and entering Cinne looked up to see an old lady who sat in a very tall chair and table which made her feel like she's in a court of some sort.
The old woman looked down at the yellowed dress suit, burgundy haired girl in front. It reminded her of a very notorious bird she once kept as a pet.
"Yes? What is it you want young lady?" an old worn out but calm voice entered Cinne's ear. She looked up at the old lady who was in a blue sweater, with large pearl necklace and a round concave glass placed in the bridge of her small nose.
'Glasses? Is she an earther too?' Prejudiced in her mixed thoughts Cinne blurted out whatever came in her mind.
"I'm searching for the 'Setter' office, um are you an earther?"
".." the old woman squinted her tiny eyes even smaller.
"Oh! Pardon my behavior Ma'am, I just wanted to know if you're an earther like me too!" Cinne awkwardly bowed at the old lady who was now looking at the girl with somehow a look of sympathy in her stern eyes and nodded in reply to her question.
"Young lady are you perhaps a Traveler?"
Cinne nodded rigorously wondering why she felt comfortable in front of the old lady.
"My name is Cinne from the Veller family"
"Rings a bell" the old lady bellowed as she takes out another pen and wrote down the name 'Cinne Veller' in a book entitled 'Setter'.
"Everyone here calls me Old Joe" she replied as she try to remember the young Veller fellow two decades ago who also came asking for the 'Setter' she was fifty that time when she first started working in the palace.
"Just go to the far right corner, there you will find a door leading up to a spiral stoned stairs, they will lead you to the 'Setter' office"
Cinne thanked Old Joe and power walked towards the right corner. Just as Old Joe had said the door led up in a spiral grey stoned stairs.
After about two minutes, she reached the end of the stairs, a large red paneled closed door came in view. Looking at her watch it glowed 11:36 am.
After the second knock the door creak and slowly opened revealing a bright room but stack with papers, documents and scrolls but an empty chair.
"Ah yes just a little bit more~" a whisper near the window caught her attention. She slowly tip toed towards the window only to see a small lean figure with afro light brown hair and wearing loose robes was standing on top of the chair with a metal cylinder type similar to a telescope fixed on its eye. She took out a binocular from her space ring and look in the direction the small person was looking at.
A lady with pale blue skin and a gentleman somewhat with scaling features collided against one another. At first Cinne thought they were fighting but soon pieced the puzzle together. They were furiously making out in an empty room with their hands all over their bodies.
"Wow….these day's people become bolder with every passing second" Cinne whispered to which a cute but slightly husky and sharp voice agrees with her statement.
The afro figure tensed and turned its head to see a fully dedicated burgundy haired girl spying with him.
"AHHH!!"
"AHHH!!...?"
"You…."
"What's wrong? What happened?" Cinne asked innocently at the afro, milky skinned child. What she didn't know was that it was not a child.
"Who the fuck are you? Entering without permission"
"Well hello!! I knocked but you seemed to be distracted so I invited myself" Cinne argued back weirdly comfortable with the blunt person in front.
The child popped some knuckles and appeared in front of the ornate table and sat down as the chair appeared behind him.
"What are you here for? And before you say anything I am not a child but a full grown man old enough to be your father who I dont want to know a thing about so just state your business and get it over with it so that I can continue with my research" he took a big breath in after the sudden speech.
"Um… I'm here to register as a new Traveler from Earth and will be signing the peace treaty in place of the Veller family"
The child like man nodded very seriously his afro bouncing, he summoned a very large book which covered the whole desk.
"Took you long enough, all the other traveler's have already registered a month ago" he motioned her to come closer.
Giving a somewhat shy smile Cinne walk up and stopped in front of the large book. The afro stood in his chair beside her and watched her every movement his amber eyes moving up and down.
'Very peculiar….let me test her'
"Here sign it" he pointed her to a blank space just below someone named Rynch Ventz.
Nodding she took the feather pen and wrote her full name 'Cinneriel Veller' in sl.no.42 and looked at the small afro who had a very pretty amber eyes but he looked like he's seen a fucking ghost.
"What's wrong?" Cinne ask as she looked back at the giant book and noticed something. All the names written on the book have the same handwriting except for hers.
'What's the meaning of this? Don't tell me-' she returned her sapphire gaze at those amber eyes.
"You were testing me….am I right?" Cinne ask as she crossed her arms and leaned towards the table a slight frown appearing.
"How is it possible? It would electrify anyone except me" the small afro mostly asked himself but his pupils dilated upon figuring why.
"You've got nul-"
"Sh!!-"
Cinne hushed the man child and pointed towards the opened door.
"You entered and didn't even close the door!!"
"Well…..just precautions" Cinne rolled her shoulders and relaxing it while asking again "Is it not okay if the handwriting's different?"
"Its fine ….but I have to report the Archmage about yo-"
"What? No please don't! Otherwise I'll tell bout you spying people making love in weird places"
"Wha-….why don't you want the Archmage know about this once in a lifetime ability?"
"I just don't want attention?"
'And also I don't want to be used anymore' she said to herself as she looked back at her name written in orange.
Noticing the change in the atmosphere and keeping the thought aside since there was plenty of time, the afro cleared his throat.
"My name is Simett Gobling and in charge of the 'Setter' registration and do forget the little adventure we saw before"
"You can call me C and it'll be a pleasure if I could introduce you to the 'Veller'" she bows changing her tone to a professional one while handing a hard black business card of the 'Veller mansion'.
Simett takes it, bites the hard card with his canine and looked at her questioningly.
With a grin Cinne took a deep breath mostly to calm herself and rethink what her father had instructed her.
"We the Veller's have recently established a place devoid of time, a place for travelers and others who want a break or a refuge. The Veller mansion acts as a haven for those in need. We provide all the necessity the respected customer wants and we would want the approval of the Royal instructors of Drikun" She paused and met amber eyes.
"Why would you let me know of this ?"
"Because I don't feel nervous in front of you and also if you ever face any difficulty 'The Veller' will be ever ready to provide a place"
"What if I brought thousands of soldiers?" Simett asked with one eyebrow up.
"The accommodation can be easily done"
"How so?"
"Each room is created as a miniature world with the customers preferable place, climate and how much space one need"
"Who created such a place? For I know King Drikun I a creationist is already dead"
"My foolish but loving father sacrificed his ability, being a creationist though not as powerful as King Drikun he created the so called Veller mansion" Cinne's expression turned a little gloom as she wonder how her father was back in the Veller and reminded herself to call him though it was only needed for emergencies.
The afro pondered about what Cinne said.
'What was I doing when such a talented person as Mr. Veller was there? Oh! I must have been busy thinking about the sizes of bust'
"I accept your request Miss Veller and when a free time comes we will pay a visit"
"Thank you" Cinne said and let out a deep breath as she returned to her cool and relaxed state.
'So tiresome to act professional and attentive' she rolled her shoulders and pop some knuckles, her stomach did a hungry growl.
"So much for acting as a professional" Simett smirk at Cinne.
"Well because I'm not a professional and this is the best I can go….say can you suggest a good place to eat?" Cinne asked as she took one last glance at her name.
"There's a good place with hot ladies but I'd suggest you go to 'The summer' it's a good place for lunch" Simett said to his unusual weird friend.
"Thanks buddy"
"I'm not your Buddy and I'm older than you!!" the cute afro sugar pouted and Cinne couldn't help but ruffle his soft afro and left the room while slowly closing the door leaving an angry pouting amber.
'Wow! An unexpected friendship with a perverted afro sugar and I guess Old Joe too?'

Going out of the busy hall Cinne notices the ponytail girl coming out from the other side of the hall but finally without the scrolls. Cinne observed the girl as she makes her way out of the busy hall. The ponytail girl stopped when someone from her left caught her wrist and turned her around to see a scrawny stout man old enough to be her grandfather with the face of an omnipotent evil eyes and face. Seeing this Cinne knew just too well what that look meant and rushed up towards the girl and the old man, upon reaching she wrapped her arm around the shoulder of the short girl who looked shock but relieved at the same time.
"Heyo! It's been a long time girl how have you been?" Cinne laughed naturally as if they were childhood friends, giving a winked at the green eyed girl and she turned her sapphire gaze at the old man who had already let go of the girl.
"And who might you be?" she ask coolly as dark brown eyes glared at her. She gave a smug face at the man.
"You might know me as the great Alhoun of-"
"Ah no need for introduction if you're so great then I guess you must be 'very' busy so please 'do not' waste your time and go about your way good...sir" Cinne hissed at the last sentence while giving a crooked side bow and dragged the green eyed girl along with her, their figures disappeared from the hall.
The stout man became furious but decided not to act too much in front of the public, he turned back as he cursed at the familiar sapphire eyes to whom he can't put a finger on.
-In the hall of pillars-
"Hey, I'm sorry if I had surprised you but I wanted to help you in that sticky situation" Cinne said as she slowly retreat her arm and stretch both her arms out wide enough to prevent others from over taking them.
"It was very admirable Miss, I'm ever so happy and in dept to you" the girl stood in front and bowed at the girl in yellow dress suit.
"Oh! Um…you don't have to be so formal with me and please I just wanted to help a fellow female!"
"I- May I ask of your name Miss?"
"You can call me Cinne or C for short and what of yours?" Cinne said as she patted the back of the girl who had decided to walk beside her.
"My name is Lezi Sabine a scholar from Merlin Academy"
"So you came with your lectures? Or family?"
"I- yes I came with my respected teacher Hawn who is a traveler one of the four in Merlin" Lezi said in a respected voice towards her teacher.
Cinne's stomach did an angry grumble to which some non-human passing them side glanced at her but went about their way. Doing a lopped sided smile she grabbed her side stomach and congratulated it for its daring performance.
"Say….would you like to accompany me to have a lunch? If you're not busy that is"
"Oh! I am famished too after the scroll delivery and meeting different people…" she whispered the last word.
"Yeah I saw you before when you nearly fell for two times but since some guys helped you I decided not to step in" Cinne replied casually and Lezi blushed at her clumsiness from before and how she didn't noticed Cinne who was wearing a type of dress suit she's never seen before and would likely catch some attention.
'Cinne must be a traveler based on her attire'
"Do you know of a place called 'The Summer'?"
"Yes I do! But I've not visited there yet as of now" Lezi played with her fingers as they exited the Hall of Pillars and was greeted with very bright sunlight and the sky cooing like birds. Covering their eyes they went out as the knights bowed at their departure.
"How long have you stayed here?" Cinne asked as she searches for her stallion at the dozens of parked carriages and finally found him.
"About two weeks I think" Lezi said as she loosen her hair a bit and wore a small nude hat which was tied in her small waist. She wore a neat dark brown dress reaching her knees.
"So you stay here in the 2nd Point? Lend me your hand" Cinne ask as she gestures the small lady to climb on top of her horse while holding her frail wrist.
'Damn how small can a person get?' Cinne asked being a pear shaped herself with 30 on her hip, 26 on the waist and 28 'or so' on her chest.
"Thank you Miss Cinne…do you know the way to the Summer?"
"Nope, that's why you're here to guide me" Cinne chuckles as she climbed behind Lezi who laughed in return.
"It is just opposite to the 2nd point fountain area in the Summer St."
Cinne motioned Star to go towards the 2nd street as they followed the black pathway to their left.
Reaching the 2nd point fountain and Cinne jump off from Star and helped Lezi by grabbing her waist and earned a blushed from Lezi for some seconds.
Cinne took the reins and lead Star as they walked towards a black and white colored elegant looking building. Cinne lend Star to a young horse valet and handed him one silvero to feed Star.
She patted her horse saying a short farewell. As she went inside the building with Star staring holes in her direction to which Lezi noticed and shivered for some unknown reason.
~
A tall lady dressed in black with a white hat was sipping a violet liquid her eyes intently staring at the girl in brown dress who had entered with another girl.
the line went silent but the others remain oblivious to it.
The two girls sat in a free seat that was beside a fireplace.
'A fireplace in a restaurant such homely vibes' Cinne smiled as she looked at the blue fire dancing softly. She returned her gaze to Lezi who seem to be awestruck at the painting of an elegant and gorgeous waves softly rushing to the shore and going back.
'Raphael Gustin' was written in a corner.
'He must have been quite a famous painter to have an ability to paint such life like paintings'
A blonde waiter in a white dress shirt and black vase with black pants disrupted their thoughts as he cleared his voice catching their attention.
"What can I serve you beautiful ladies?" the blonde waiter asked with a curious voice but giving all his attention to Lezi.
'Just compliment her instead' Cinne scoffed and tilted her head behind the waiter to see a long white haired woman in black dress staring at Lezi but the lady looked odd for Cinne.
'Something is wrong here' Cinne took the menu and looked at it.
'Hm… meat apple pie? I've never heard of that'
Lezi ordered a scaled caviar soup, which sounded super weird to Cinne but she just smiled and ordered for another weird meat apple pie along with a glass of Striger wine to which Lezi ordered the same as her, with a respectful bow the waiter left.
Lezi was a blushing mess of cherry.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Cinne asked concern for her new friend.
'I've made three weird friends today which is a record from yesterday'
"I- I don't know to be honest, it's just that today so many people seems to be giving me a lot of attention lately oh! But please do not be offended Cinne I am very happy to be friends with you"
"None taken Lez, I mean seriously don't take everything too serious though, because we never know if they came knowingly with hidden agenda's-" to that Cinne glanced at the waiter who was talking to the lady "and unknown means….just be careful okay? Lez"
Lezi nodded with a determined expression, Cinne warmly smiled to which Lezi blushed again.
The food arrived earlier then Cinne had expected.
The waiter with an 'extra care' placed the glass near Lezi. The wine was light blue in color and Cinne saw the soft glow it gave.
'Some shits bout to go down'
"what in the name…" the lady whispered in a low voice as the burgundy haired girl had exchanged the charmed wine meant for the other girl who was their target.
Cinne gave a half chuckle, as she exchanges the possibly spiked drink and gave hers to Lezi.
"For our friendship to last" they both cheers and downed the wine.
Well nothing happened to the disappointment of Cinne (Because she was also curious about the limitation of her strange ability and she never had time to know more about her ability since she was occupied by hiding from her cousins every single day when her father was absent)
Shrugging the thoughts she heartily chugged down the rest of the wine and ate her lunch which was beyond delicious and out of earth. She was happy that she at least helped out someone without their knowledge.
the man in brown suit behind stood up.
The lady walked out as Cinne's eyes casually followed her till the door closed.
Long white hair dancing in the soft breeze as sharp turquoise eyes travelled the pathway and stop. He narrowed his eyes when he saw the black horse but no clumsy boy in sight.
"Ladies today as a first time for the both of you to come here, I would love to offer you both a small drink which is very popular in Drikun" the waiter faked smiled as he gave the two ladies small glasses with violet liquid.
"Oh my! Is it the Lavio wine King Drikun I made?" Lezi spurted out lots of other things, the waiter turned his head to meet piercing sapphire eyes studying him. Unable to breath for a second he swallowed his saliva and looked down as he slowly placed the glass but his heart beating like it just ran a marathon.
Cinne massage her neck and wondered what happened to the blonde waiter who seemed to be forming beads of sweat in his forehead and she drank the violet liquid which seemed to be tasteless for her but Lezi was literally worshipping the liquid as she drank slowly.
After paying three silvero for the both of them Cinne stood up.
"We'll part our ways from here"
Cinne turn to see a somewhat gloomy Lezi her dark green eyes growing darker.
"After the first day of signing how about we looked around the 1st point" Cinne suggested which brighten Lezi's face.
"Yes!! Let us meet then since its only two days away" Lezi said not wanting to part with Cinne yet.
Star stood behind Cinne but was staring at a figure behind who flinched and disappeared only to appear on top of a roof and to be found out by the weird horse again.
"Star lets go" Star bend a little as Cinne climbed now getting used to it.
"Until then Lezi" she waved and Lezi who was rigorously waving both her hands like she's sending away her child to boarding school.
'2:50 pm? Time does fly when we girls talk'
They strode directly without any stopping and reached 'Verite' at about 3:30. Going inside Cinne was greeted with a soft re-mastered song of 'Fly me to the moon by Frank Sinatra' playing in the sitting room inside. She opened a counter and looked at the grocery she bought the day before and made a list on what to buy as she had given an oath that she would make dinner.
'But I didn't say it would be to their liking' she smirk at the thought.
Opening the beaded curtain Cinne was greeted by a frowning dusky blonde who looked at her from his seat near the blue lit fire, fierce golden eyes nearly glazing with the reflection of the fire in it.
'What do we have here'
