Imani Tallerico is the brightest scientist among her colleagues. She has a loving brother, a balanced life and a rising career. Everything was going well until a series of events occurred which led to her and her brother's life being in danger.

By fate, Lucas and Imani's worlds collide. Knowing that Imani is capable of finding the cure to the virus that was killing his people, Lucas is willing to do anything to get Imani's help.

But that's not the only thing the Alpha wants from her. He also wants her heart.

"Okay yes, I tried to slap her and I'm really sorry about that... But she obviously needs to be brought to her senses," Henry said and both Imani and Lola instantly scowled while Irving gave him a dirty look.

"Wow, what a man you are," Irving replied, dropping the tablet on the centre table in front of the couch. "How about I bring you to your senses?"

Renfield brought a circular shaped object and tossed it at Henry who barely managed to catch it. "You're disgusting. Get out of my sight," he stated with his face scrunched up in disgust and Henry's face fell when he began to head towards the door.

"Oh, and Henry... If you try shit, you'll lose your position as Captain and by shit I mean you can't use The Night Force because your pride took a hit," he added and Imani sighed in relief. Henry's jaw clenched as he stiffly nodded and gave Imani and Lola a dirty look before he walked out of the office.
