Lucas' eyes widened in horror as her reason for making him transform became clear and he fought it even harder but it was obvious that he was going to lose because the spell had a tight grip on him. "No," he muttered under his breath as a growl ripped through him and Imani's heart began to hammer in her chest, dread creeping up from the pit of her stomach.

Immith tucked her hair behind her ear as she slightly tipped her head to the side. "Sorry, I didn't get that. What makes you think you can refuse for long?"

"Lucas," Imani called out, hoping he could get whatever was happening to him under control, and he looked up to her with a feral gleam in his eyes as he raggedly panted before a whimper escaped her lips.

"Imani." His voice sounded strained and he looked like he was on the verge of breaking as sweat dripped down his face. "... Run."
