"Oh. My. God." Lola muttered as she walked up to the floor to ceiling window that faced the woods and placed her hands on the glass.

Ever since they entered the house, she had been behaving like a child in a candy store. She had been really excited when she found out that the home system, Nira, was active because Imani had disabled the one at her place and said no one should turn it on again.

"Can I go there?" she asked Lucas with wide eyes as she gestured at the woods after turning around to face him and his mouth set in a hard line.

"No, you can't. You're not going anywhere," he replied, sticking his hands in his pocket, and she held out her hands up as confusion washed over her face. "You're on house arrest," he added in case she didn't understand his previous statement.
