Imani slowly came to, her vision blurry as she sat up and took in her surroundings. She was in a room that was quite dark and terrifyingly quiet and she instantly swivelled her head around, trying to figure out where she was, even though she couldn't see anything.

She realized that her hands and feet were cuffed together after she tried to move and panic began to set in as she wondered where she was and what had happened to her. The last thing she remembered suddenly rushed into her mind when she took in a deep breath and her heart began to beat wildly while her breath came out in short spurts.

Different questions raced through her mind: Why did Aksel bring her here? What did he plan to do with her? Does Nikolay know he's doing this?
