By fate, Lucas and Imani's worlds collide. Knowing that Imani is capable of finding the cure to the virus that was killing his people, Lucas is willing to do anything to get Imani's help.

Lucas who was confused about what just happened to the fairy turned around when he heard someone speak and saw a man standing in the hallway. His eyes widened in surprise as he realized it was the man with Imani's mother in the painting in the foyer of her house.

"Dad," Imani muttered as she took a small step forward, worried that if she ran towards him right now he would disappear, and he cleared his throat while adjusting the lapels of his jacket.

"Hello sweetheart," he replied with a huge smile on his face and her eyes swam with tears which gradually began to escape as she tried to form words but couldn't. He gestured at the pile of gold dust on the floor, "Sorry about that. She's basically harmless... just mischievous."
