"I- " Imani swallowed and intertwined her fingers while Lola raised her brows. She instantly held down the hem of her dress when Lola's eyes darted to it because she thought she was going to yank it up. "Wait. How do you know this is Lucas' jacket?"

Lola gave her a blank stare and pressed her lips together. "It has Harrison written on the back."

Imani glanced at the back of the jacket and saw that Lucas' last name was indeed written on it. How had she not seen it when she picked it up to wear it? Lola cleared her throat, drawing Imani's attention back to her, and raised her brows as she gestured at the underwear in her hands.

"Let's make a deal," Imani said. Lola was aware that she wasn't wearing underwear and Imani knew that she would have a lot of questions so she decided to ask her questions too.
