Desmond frowned when Nia mentioned Nikolay's and his brows drew together. "I don't have his number. He abandoned us after you and dad died," he stated and Nia was taken aback while Lucas started to listen in on their conversation.

"He... abandoned you guys?" she muttered and Desmond nodded.

"He stopped coming over, broke up with Imani through a text message and changed his number," he replied and she shook her head, not wanting to believe what she just heard, but she did not look pleased.

'So that's what happened,' Lucas thought, frowning as he imagined how sad Imani must have been when Nikolay did that... his loss though, Lucas has her now and he sure as hell won't mess things up with her.

"I- I'm sure he has a reason for that."
