By fate, Lucas and Imani's worlds collide. Knowing that Imani is capable of finding the cure to the virus that was killing his people, Lucas is willing to do anything to get Imani's help.

But that's not the only thing the Alpha wants from her. He also wants her heart.

<p>The fire blazing in Lucas' and Nikolay's eyes died after Imani said that and they looked rather taken aback, their hostile demeanor immediately disappearing. They absolutely wouldn't be beating each other up then. They could choose to keep on fighting till one of them ended up dead but based on what Imani said right now, she would get in between them again and that would definitely lead to her getting hurt. As much as they wanted to kill each other, they didn't want Imani getting really injured in the process.</p>

<p>They gave each other murderous looks but neither of them attempted to go around her to get to the other person and Imani's eyes darted between them one more time before she returned her hands to her side.</p>
