The confusion that had washed over their faces turned to disbelief, and then shock. The front door of the house they were standing in front of opened and a woman dressed in a business suit stepped out of it, looking like she was in a hurry to get somewhere. Sumitra rushed towards the woman and began to convince her to go back into the house while Vinay rushed across the street to Lucas.

"Here in Wolfborn. How did- Where is she?" he asked as Nia headed towards the door of the next house.

"In the house. Stay here, do not follow me," Lucas replied before he dashed out of his driveway and into the house Nikolay was in. "Desmond," he called out in the hallway just as Nia came in after him. His head was still spinning but he rushed into all the rooms on the ground floor and didn't find Desmond or Kyle-Immith.
