<p>Ella rushed over to Lucas' side as he and Nikolay got to their feet along with Nia who was still holding the shield. Even though the shield was blocking the rapidly spreading fire on the other side of it and they were standing metres away from it, Lucas could still feel the searing heat it was giving off like he was standing right in front of it. The only reason Immith was still throwing them was because Nia couldn't hold the shield up forever and she wanted to incinerate her the moment it goes down.</p>

<p>"Tavon!" Vinay called out and one of the werewolves in the clearing along with a couple of others turned to face the beta as he pointed at the place red smoke was rising from out of the woods. "That backyard's on fire. Get the fire department to handle it or you and a couple of people should go put it out! Quickly!"</p>
