On the Run

she ran to her room to pack

making a beeline for her closet and pulled out the big black duffle bag she kept folded up there under her towels

she packed the things on her dresser her toiletries, makeup, hair products, and her cherished blue velvet jewelry box

and then quickly changed her clothing to a pair of black

stretch fit jeans, her BT21 sneakers, a nice blouse her black BTS Love Yourself hoody

and then her north face coat for warmth

she grabbed her clothes pulling everything

off their hangers and into the duffle bag she emptied her underwear drawer

then she went into the safe in the very back

of her closet hidden behind her linen and pulled out a smaller

duffle she had inside

she had her and the girls passports and other traveling

documentation prepared and a stash of money she had been saving she packed

her laptop and other electronics she was taking with her as well

looking around her room to see if she missed anything

ok that was it she left her room pulling the door closed behind her and going back down the stairs

her parents were waiting for her

while she had been busy their transportation had arrived standing at their open front door

were two guys dressed in military uniforms waiting for them

sweetheart so sorry this is goodbye her mother breathed hugging her warmly

"we will call you when we can and don't worry ok"

"We love you, sweetheart," her dad said hugging her "be safe take care of yourself and your sisters"

I will I promise" Anna replied

"Justin take care of my daughter," he said sternly

you have my word I absolutely will sir" Justin promised seriously

"my plane is refueled and they say we can take off tonight " he informed him

"We can go pick up the girls in the meantime"

"ok good" her dad breathed in relief shaking Justin's hand

"godspeed Mr. and Mrs. Weyland be safe"

"I love you mom and dad be careful ok" anna

was crying as she saw her parents off watching from the doorway

as they got into a black SUV with the military guys

and quickly left

the press was still busy taking photos and reporting on their departure outside

justin put an arm around anna hugging her tightly to his chest

"it will be ok" he breathed soothing her

"This is so scary" she breathed into his chest he could feel tremors running through her body

as he held her he kissed the top of her head

"they'll be fine your parents are brilliant people I'm sure they will cure the virus and stop this crisis in no time "

at that moment the tv blared another update the terrorist

had threatened that there would be another attack this time on US soil in a heavily populated city

"oh my god" anna gasped

"ok thats enough of that " Justin said shutting off the TV lock up the house

"lets go get your sisters" he instructed her

the next few minutes anna frantically locked up the house and turned off the electricity from the fuse box and the gas

the two left the house Justin carrying Anna's duffle bag a few reporters were still hanging around as they got into Justin's car

anna called Vivian again as they pulled out with a screech of tires on the asphalt

"We are coming to get you guys are you guys ready to leave?" anna asked

"yes" Vivian answered

"buts it's not just the humans that are dangerous now the celestial council received reports

of celestials in Europe also being infected it seems that this isn't a normal terrorist attack

they are saying the Black Witch has a hand in it as you know we are generally immune to most human diseases

so even a terrorist attack like this isn't something that would affect us under normal circumstances

the council is worried this may be a new strain of the original curse

created to harm the rest of us survivors being passed on to us by infecting the humans around us

the celestial council is evacuating all the homes everyone is being sent to council sanctuary

oh my god anna breathed as her heart kicked into another gear

"what is it ?"Justin asked

"the celestial council is saying the Black Witch has something to do with the attack

they think its a new strain of the curse because European celestials have also been infected"

she relayed

"shit "Justin cursed

"the celestial homes are being evacuated as we speak everyone is being sent to the sanctuary"

Justin cursed and began to drive faster

"tell the girls we will be there in ten minutes," he said tersely

soon they came to a screeching halt in front of the home Vivian Vanessa and Yuqi were on the

porch waiting with house mother they were all carrying duffle bags like anna was and dressed in a similar fashion for travel

an older adult celestial female with pitch-black hair and grey eyes

a female Tiger she had two of her tails visible one was black the other

was red both tipped with a fiery burning red celestial flame on the ends

but Justin sensed she was much stronger than that a very strong elder celestial at least a full six tails

She was dressed in a pair of black pants and a black and white Shinee World Varsity jacket

with her favorite band members name on the front and the group's logo on the back over a T-shirt and soft-soled sneaker shoes

outside the home was a hive of activity parked in a line outside were several large black tour busses with celestial markings on them

and tinted windows

all being loaded with the kids from the home who stood in lines all carrying duffle bags filled with their possessions

while some celestials guards patrolled the area to make sure everyone was safe while they boarded the busses

several black trucks nearby were also being loaded with supplies by other

guards the feeling in the air was one of fear, tension everyone was on high alert working quickly

to complete their tasks and get to safety as quickly as possibly

anna smiled feeling relief when she saw her sisters all waiting there they were pale and stressed

"guys get in" she cried leaning out the window

Vivian, Vanessa, and Yuqi all rushed toward the car all three of them piling in the backseat

"anna" house mother said coming to her window she took her hand

"good luck you girls take care of yourselves out there ok"

"don't worry about us I got everything covered, " Justin told her

"this isn't the first time we have been under attack from the Black Witch

we will all make it through this" house mother said reassuringly

"We have been hoping for the best outcome but we have been planning and expecting the worst we are survivors"

"house mother thank you for everything all these years truly I won't forget what you've done for my sisters and me"

anna said sincerely

"if you're ever in need, housemother" Justin said "you can reach out to my clan we will help however we can"

"Take this" he took something out of the glove box passing it to anna who passed it to the housemother

it was a celestial seal bearing the seal of the Wolf Clan clan it meant that the housemother and the home

now had an official alliance with Justin's clan as long as they held that card anyone from Justin's clan would help them

"This is too much," house mother said looking at the card in her hands

"even so," Justin said "keep it you never know when having it might actually come in handy

in the coming days if this is really the doing of the witch you'll need all the allies you can find

and I won't deny or turn my back on anyone who has helped my mate

you gave her and her sister's sanctuary all these years this is the least I can do

when we get to japan expect to get a call from us"

her eyes grew wide I will of course thank you so much"

"girls goodbye take care " the girls were all leaning out the windows hugging house mother

kissing her on the cheek saying their goodbyes there were some tears being shed

"go on hurry up and get out of here before its too late" house mother urged dashing away tears of her own

Justin pulled off the girls waving goodbye watching as housemother and the home faded from view behind them

Justin hit the highway they raced towards the city of New York.
