Chapter 37 Looking

"Where are you?" Ally said to herself looking through files,

She heard a notification come from her phone and got up walks to the phone to see nothing it was all part of her imagination,

she sighed goes back to her chair with no one in the building, it is so quiet that all she can hear is her computer running, Ally continued to search for any clues to where she could be.

she stopped when she felt a water-like subsistence drop onto her shoulder, she quickly grabbed the dagger in her cabinet drawer, she quickly pointed the weapon at the perpetrator,

"Domenico?" Ally uttered shaking,

He smiled drinking his coffee and spilling some on her, Ally sighed in relief,

"Sorry, I just wanted to check on ya," Domenico said grabbing her some tissues,

"Sal told me that you're doing more research," Domenico asked

"Yes, I am, what of it?" Ally said irritated, waiting for the nagging that was about to commence,

"Let me help you," Domenico said

Ally was inwardly shocked but kept it to herself, she stared up at him, the sparkle in his eyes made her feel off, she nodded at him and pointed at the chair in front of her,

he moved the chair next to her, Ally glanced at him but continued to look through the files,

"You won't find anything there," Domenico said suddenly, Ally stared at him perplexed,

"How so?" Ally asked

Domenico gently takes the files from her, touching her hand in the process, Ally flushed at this act, she watched as Domenico moved her computer and spreads the files on the desk,he noticed something off about it, Ally followed what he is looking at and caught on to what he is thinking of,

"Do you think they're some kind of insiders?" Ally raised a question,

"There might. but these don't seem normal," Domenico muttered

Ally looked back at the papers, Domenico glanced at her and went over to the paper in front of her,

"This looks familiar though," Domenico said

He bent forward and grabbed the file, as he examined it Ally stays in place not trying to touch him, he sat back down and moves his chair closer,

"You see this," Domenico said

Domenico pointed at a miss-colored map piece smudged in black ink.

Ally notices this and holds the other side of the paper,

"How did that get there? I have checked this more than once," Ally whispered

Domenico glanced at her,

"Whatever he did... I don't even know if it was him." Ally said appalled,

She sat back down, and put her face in her hands, Domenico puts down the paper and sat next to her, laying a hand on her chair arm,

"What do you imply by that?" Domenico asked curiously,

"What if... if it's me?" Ally said distraught,

She looked at her hands imagining them covered in black sludge, remembering her hand being severed and she shivers at the thought. she felt herself falling into a dark abyss, but before she could a hand stopped her,

"Don't," Domenico said before continuing,

"I don't believe that it's you," Domenico said

"It could be a possibility, you can't deny that," Ally said quietly,

"If it is you then what proof be you have?" Domenico asked staring at her Ally looked away from him, and starts to look at another file, he lightly pushed the piece of paper away,

"What's wrong?" Domenico asked

Ally takes a moment, breathing. She looked back at him,

"I've been having nightmares about what happened," Ally confessed

Domenico nods telling her to continue with that Ally sighed,

"I keep seeing my hand... chopped off." Ally sobbed,

Domenico felt pain in his heart and remember her face struck with anguish, wanting her body to stop but couldn't do a thing,

"And the black that covers my eyes still haunts me. his voice, the pain." Ally said shaken up,

She started to sob uncontrollably with all the burden finally crashing down on her, she felt so cold like her hands were about to fall off but then Domenico pulled her into a hug, Ally gasped at the sudden heat surging off of him,

she softly hugs him back letting the heat comfort her, She snuggles into his chest feeling the warm comfort of sleep creeping up, she looked up at him and kissed his chin before falling asleep,

Domenico stared at her shocked then letting her snuggle into his lap, his eyes started to close as he let sleep consume his body,

"Do you think this is funny?" Salvatore asked

A male tied up in a chair struggles to get out and looks feral with black eyes with mist.

"Yes, I do believe this is humorous." The man said shivering in delight,

Salvatore walked in front of him,

"I will ask you one last time. where's Avalon," Salvatore said threatening him,

The man just laughs at him before the mist around their eyes grew. The man looked up at him madness flowing through his eyes,

"Do you think he would let me know where she is? You little fool," The man said

Salvatore runs his hand through his hair, he sighed in frustration,

"I didn't ask for a sarcastic jerk, I asked where is Avalon," Salvatore said

He made a hand gesture, the man looked at him bewildered before he looked up to find Jacob pointing a pistol at him,

"What? I thought you were a spy agency" The man yelled

"You know what they saw when a man loses everything, I don't want to go to that. I just want some answers and you will give them to me," Salvatore said giving the man a stern glare,

"Now tell me where she is," Salvatore said calmly,

The man looked at Jacob terrified as Jacob smiled at him and mockingly waved at him,

"I still don't know where she is," The man said weakly,

Jacob shot at his feet, Salvatore glared up at him all Jacob did was nod, The man shakes his eyes tearing up with blue fluid,

"I swear I don't know let me go," The man whispered,

"He's lying, there should be a database showing where he is," Jacob said walking up to the man pointed his gun at their head,

"Jacob..." Salvador said tried to stop him,

"Fine! Just don't kill me. They in the.." The man stopped feeling his heart explode, he lean forward dead,

"Jacob!" Salvatore said

Salvatore walks up to them, Jacob pulls his gun away and checked his pulse to find none,

"His heart must have exploded," Jacob said looking at Salvatore,

"That wasn't normal," Jacob said

Salvatore turned away from the scene, Jacob sensed his boss's pain he turned back to him put a hand on his shoulder,

"Go tell someone to clean this up, can you find someone else?" Salvatore asked

'Yes, I can, rest up boss," Jacob said

Salvation nodded and left the room feeling pain in his heart, not knowing what to do about his son,

"Hey, Ally have you seen.." Lucario asked stopped when he saw them cuddling each other, he smiled and closed the door,

"Crazy kids," Lucario said walking away from the door
