Chapter 125 They've broken the gates

"They planned an attack behind your back?"

"They did,"

"That didn't explain to us what had happened to you,"

Liz interrupted Sandel and Luke, Sandel turned to her, the flame receded, shifting to her, Liz still held some skepticism for Sandel. This doesn't make sense. There have been stories of wars in heaven, but this doesn't seem real to her or for the facts either. Liz glanced at Avalon, seeing that she's staring at her angel, troubled for her sentient flame. Liz put off and looked back at Sandel,

"That is, but that was the first half,"

Sandel told her. Avalon heard the demurer in her voice. It was conflicted, but she understood. She's fine with talking about it now... Avalon hoped, Sandel swirled to her her fire flickering with her movement,

"Do you want to know what happens next?"

"It depends. Are you going to be okay?"

"I've expected this for some time now, I'll be fine if you all know what happened. It could help you in the future,"

Avalon glanced at Damien, and he nods, she's right, this could help them, but he's more curious than anything. She then looked to Luke and Liz, Luke nods at her and has an interest of what she would say next, like a reader to a story they're hooked on, Liz skeptical as ever stared at the two unsure of what they are talking about,

"Liz, what do you think?"

Liz huffed leaning on her hand looking over them, this must have been the most confusing, conflicting day for a angel to tell her they story of her life, Liz glanced at Sandel, her flame flickers under her gaze until Sandel moved closer to LIz and said,

"I know you are skeptical Liz, but if I could, this is real, this is what happened up there before you were a thought I fought against him, i know you base your knowledge on hard research and facts, by that I respect you. What occurred that day was destructive. Nothing they did worked, but what it caused would be remembered for eternity. All true if you'll let me show you,"

Her voice filled with compassion towards her, waiting for her answer, Liz hummed, contemplating. she's being very genuine to her, even going along the lines of vulnerable in front of them, she hasn't known Sandel for long but she knows Avalon and she only lets some in that wouldn't include her. It didn't help that she started to get invested in it,

"I would like to see what happens next, Sandel,"

Sandels flame grew with her calm voice coming out of it,

"If that is what you wish, then i will tell you the rest of what occurred that day,"

Her flame exploded around the room covering them, Luke let out a gasp watching the flames crawl up his chair he flinched having the fire near him, Damien saw his brother shaken by Sandel, he let out a chuckled feeling the heat around them, Liz watched on amused seeing it without burning the room around them, Avalon staring at the middle of the room when she felt dizzy, she held onto the bed staring blindly, dread, anxiety, but what hurt is the betrayl. the heart brokeness from Sandel, she felt it, all of it. she lean on her arm in a daze when Damien held onto her other arm helping her stabilize, Avalon peered at him and Damien held her up as gently as he can with a harden gaze staring back at her,

"Avalon, do you need a minute?"

Avalon touched his hand moving closer to him, she didn't want to interupte Sandel because of this but Sandel is aware of how Avalon is reacting to her, they could feel each other pain, emothions that is how deep there bound has become, or she an empath. But Sandel would rather choose the later.

"Avalon, will you be able to last for the next part of it?"

"I will be fine Sandel, show us what happened,"

Sandel saw Avalon lean on Damien as he huffed, staring at the ember on the bed, scoffing,

"I will tell you when she's had enough,"

"If it be well with you,"

The room shaped into the throne room Sandel and he were in. Sandel stood to the side, her gaze bouncing around the room, but he stopped her, calming her nerves,

"Sandel, they have done it, its time to stop them,"

Sadnel looked to him, and he felt a sense of grief from within her, the downwards spiral that threatened to start. Sandel looked at him, feeling his hand over her form. He felt warm, like he had her cradeled in his hand, protecting her. He watched her stop and look at him with her soft voice asking,

"I have to fight them, don't i?"

"I won't make you fight them Sandel that is your choice. If need be, i will send Michael to them,"

"I get to make the choice,"

"You do. i will give you a moment, Micheal,"

A bright light appeared in the room with a short blond haired angel with blue glowing eyes in the light, he looked at the two. He walked to them, then bowed to his knee and said,

"You called my lord?"

"I have you know of Peter's doings?"

"I have,"

"Where they have staged the start of the attack,"

"Yes, i have some of your army there, my lord, but they will be too late in stopping them,"

"I'm aware of that, Michael,"

"I've had the rest in the places you want my lord,"

"Good, i need you to help fight them, Micheal,"

"Peter, Tuathal, Formoir, Ain and Brand?"

"All of them they must be exiled,"

Sandel felt a shiver go down her spine as she looked at the two, she caught Micheal's gaze he stared at her sternly, he knew her relationship with them and now she wasn't apart of their scheme, he went to stand to fulfill his order but Sandel went to them before Micheal could stand saying,

"Wait, i want to help my lord,"

They turn their heads to her while she reached to grab Micheal's arm, Sandel looked to him, she's serious of this. She put her other hand to her heart, proclaiming.

"I want to help my lord,"

"Is that what you really want, my angel?"

"Yes. My lord, I've been with them for a long time and now blind side by them, for this to happen for them to attack you and the kingdom, it's my duty to you to send them away,"

"Then it will be you to do so Sandel, send them to the earth never to return,"

Sandel bows her head at his command and Micheal did the same touching her hand with his, catching her attention, Sandel glanced at him seeing his steel blue eyes staring a head at there lord, he smiled at them both, they will get this done it's already been disided.

"Go you two towards the gates of the throne room, they will come here,"

Sandel stood up with Micheal. She went to let go of him, but he offered to guild her,

"Would you want a guild?"

"No, i do remember where the gate is,"

A crash came from the gates, they glanced at each other before rushing to the gates, another crash happened, Sandel stopped seeing the door start to crack then come back together, an eyes thought one of the cracks, red gleaming eyes stared at her strickingly. the door reacted being brought back to its original state, Micheal walked to the door, making a spear apper in his hand and glanced at Sandel,

"Are you joining?"

Sandel let out a huff folllowing him, but they crshed into the door again, with more eyes appering staring at her, gold, yellow, blue, green and pink looked at her, wth the faint glow of there weapons beisde them,

"Sandel!"

"Stay out of our way!"

"Or die with them!"

The door shook falling off its hinges, Michael's eyes widden watching it starting to fall, he wouldn't be able to make it, he pushed up his spear when a force moved him, he looked down Sandel hugged around his midsection pushed him away from the gates,

"Sandel, i could have broken the gates,"

She got off him and glanced at the gates broken pieces scattered abroad, an angel trampled on the gates, he opened his wing having black mist come off him glaring around the room when his red eyes caught a light white, it was her staring back at him with her weapon appearing in her hand, that vibrant blade that had trampled others, it shined at him mocking him in a way, he held back a scoff seeing her stern gaze on him,

"I understand, but i couldn't stand there and watch,"

He heard Sandel say to Micheal, disgusting. She would show him sympathy after everything they had done for her, his daunting glare caught Micheal's, he stood behind Sandel when he moved her beside him glancing at her,

"You know them, dont you?"

"I should,"

"Then help me end there plan,"

Sandel gazes stayed on him standing on the gates. He looked down at her with a soft fake smile,

"You wouldn't truly fight me, would you my follower,"
