"Sandel it's her time,"
Sandel raised her hand, when a pain yell stopped her,
"Don't Sandel,"
Sandel looked to Brand reaching out for Ain desperately, crawling towards them only staring at Ain, Sandel saw how she's crawling to them, her legs weren't moving. They stayed limp while Brand pulled at the ground, trying to reach them, with the burned maker on the end of her spine.
"It's her lower spine making her legs fail on her,"
Brand pulls at the ground and it broke on her, having her nail break, she grunted glaring at Sandel, without warning the familiar warmth filled the room again. With the haunting voice reverberated around them,
"Not without her sister,"
Brands eyes widened at the voice, she started to shake and her gaze looked between her and Ain, Sandel faltered so slightly that Brand didn't notice but she did, the warmth surrounded her, trying to comfort her in a way but it felt pressured.
"Sandel, I won't force you to do this."
The atmosphere in the room changed. Sandel glanced at the scene in front of her, Brand holding onto Ains hand tightly, staring at Ains wound, finding it wasn't healing as it should. Sandel felt that heat from before under them as his voice,
"I must ask you this, would it be easier for me to do it for you and your memories of what happened before gone, or for you to send them down, finishing what they have done?"
Sandel saw fire pouring into the room, rushing under Ain and Brand. Sandel frowns, witnessing the fire that built around them, it wasn't her it was his. Sandel felt the heat on her shoulder and Sandel glanced at it, A white hand is placed there with an unnerving feeling around her,
"Are you prepared for the next step, Sandel?"
Sandel looked away at the two fallen angels one clenching on to the other whispering for her to be fine. To get up and help her. Before staring at her eyes widen with shock. Then terror at what was standing behind her, they were facing him as they both feared after making that oath with them, Brand tried to pull Ain away from them under their watchful eyes,
"This can't be happening to us, he promised us this wouldn't be,"
Brand's eyes burned at the end, fading away, glaring at the two, she yelled out,
"Stop i don't want this,"
A thunderous voice came from behind Sandel, shaking the broken room there in.
"You have agreed to Peter. Brand, you have signed you soul on that oath and through it wouldn't be seen. You thought i wouldn't have known and so did Sandel,"
"SHUT UP!"
Brand lashed out, pulling herself up, glaring at them, her eyes brimming with water, the former flame changing from gold to black as her back heals. He held back a scoff and tells Sandel,
"Sandel its your choice to make again,"
Sandel looked at Brand, the hate that came from her. The angered snarl on her face. It all reeked off of her, back on her feet, wobbling. Sandel heard him warning her of Brand,
"Sandel, stop her."
Brand dashed at her, making her sword appear broken. Brand glares at Sandel, crying out,
"I won't forgive you, entilied wench, forgetting who helped you,"
"Forget?"
Sandel muttered, she didn't forget them helping her, she never has, but that has changed from the way they were then to now. It doesn't affect her anymore, guilt tripping. Using that to shake her didn't work anymore. Sandel unintentionally raised her hand, stopping Brand's sword. Brand pushed into Sandel's hand to cut it off,
"Sandel you forgot everything we were to you."
"I never forgot Brand,"
The sword broke under her grip as Sandel reminisced. She sees a younger version of herself with Brand walking through the clouds, her talking about how pretty she is compared to the other angel, before helping her understand her strengths.
"I remember it all, that's why this is so difficult to do."
A fire went from under Brand and Ain. Brand looked around her, frantically at the fire burning around her, burning her. Sandel peered at her hand, saddened, she guessed she raised her hand made it start, their desertion was final.
"No you don't Sandel, you've always been like this a naive angel looking for one to help you, always so bright and righteous to be in the ranks of him,"
Brand scoffed staring at Sandel, thought the fire that curled around her framing her face, Brand clenched her fist then lunged forward trying to punch, Sandel moved her head staring at her struggling form, taking her hand, Brand snared pulling back her hand shouting at Sandel,
"You think your better Sandel, your just like us in the end!"
She tried to push her only to stop abruptly, it seems that time doesn't matter now to her, but she can still see Sandel staring at her dejected. Sandel moved her hand down close to her neck, Brand tried to move her neck but could she's stuck
"This is something i didn't want to do Brand, but seeing your behavior change to a tough woman to much in her mind about her statues and beauty to what you are now,"
Sandel quickly hit her neck, and placed her hand above her muttering,
"And time will now be resumed,"
Brand fell to her left, landing harshly on the ground with a blank stare and her body has the fire spread around her, making a ball, Sandel stepped closer to Brand frowning, she changed so harshly, it wouldn't have gone another way would it.
"I understand why you are doing this Sandel,"
Sandel gaze shot at Ain, layed on her back now whole, her pink gaze barley there. What once full of life looked dead. She had the strength to move her head to look towards her.
"I recongnise where we have done wrong, what path we tread on now was avoidable but wasn't for long, i agreed with Brand on this plan that Peter came up with, then we helped."
Ain stuttered feeling the heat from the fire slowly burn her, she chuckled. It's just like her when they started to train Sandel, Ain smiled at the fondness. Sandel first time with her sword, it was tough on her at first but after some time with Tuatha and Brand they got her to do it, She witnessed it before anyone else and saw it potential, one that wouldn't be like there but hers. Ain smiled letting out a faint chukle, staring at her before her gaze went to the sword,
"I saw it from the start. You would beat all of us, i guess I'm the fool who saw it but decided against it. Looking away at another then what layed before my eyes. Sandel i won't blame you for this, it was us covered in a veil. That we wanted so dearly,"
The fire wrapped around her making a circle, Ain felt her world fall from her. In a endless haze.
"At least one of you can see that," Sandel muttered
Sandel raised her hand looking over the two ball of fire, when the ground opened under them showing the earth below them, another ball of fire not to far off from them. Sandel moves her hand down and the start to descend,
"I'm sorry, this had to be,"
Sandel mutter staring at Ain and saw that day she made her sword appear, Ain telling her how she can do it and taught her to, she remembered how she looked at her in awe, as she made her sword appeared first, when she first fought her, of coruse she lost but with time she started to combat Ain, taking her attacks bluntly then striking,
"Don't be sorry Sandel,"
Sandel eyes widen at her voice, watching them fall just like Tuatha. The both fell together in a bright mirage of orange, gold and pink, she felt the warmth from before start to fade as his voice tells her,
"The next is yet to come,"
Sandel shook, her hand tightened around her sword, sorrow. it's all she felt, This is what she had to do to protect this kingdom, to make them fall for their schemes. Filling her with regret.
"Fine,"
Sandel muttered holding back a sob, staring at the next room that she will enter.
