RACHELLE'S POV
I woke up by the feeling of light hitting my face, as well as a finger slightly poking my left cheek. As my vision cleared I saw Kristy, her wide and shining eyes looking at me with curiosity. Once she noticed that I'm awake she stopped poking my cheek, Kristy smiled at and said good morning.
I greeted her back and smiled at her.
Kristy then started pulling me out of bed leading me to the kitchen. Upon exiting the room I saw Robbie, serving breakfast. The smell of the freshly prepared meal hit my nostrils, making me hungry. My stomach then grumbled which made me blush.
Robbie definitely heard that because he looked at me and smiled.
"You two should sit down so we could start eating" he said
Kristy and I sat down and we started eating, the meal remained silent until Robbie spoke once more.
"Rachelle as I promised yesterday, I will take you today to see my friend."
I nodded in response since my mouth is full, which he understood so he continued to speak.
"His house is within the woods but no need worry. It's perfectly safe and even if there would be some trouble I will protect you no matter what." He finished
After swallowing the food in my mouth I answered "Thank you, Robbie"
I feel a bit useless, to be honest. I could only redundantly thank Robbie, unable to do anything about my situation. But I know there's nothing I could actually do.
"You should get ready for later then" he said with a smile.
After breakfast, Robbie told me that the clothes I was supposed to wear last night were on the table beside the bed. I then remembered that I fell asleep and forgot to change my clothes.
As I headed into the room I immediately found the clothes, after picking them up a letter fell off. And for a moment I thought it was the same letter from before however, as I picked it up I realize that it wasn't because this letter was addressed to me.
To our guest Rachelle,
I would like to apologize for not waking you up during dinner last night. However, I didn't want to be rude and disrupt your rest. And if I may be so bold I'd like to say that, you look absolutely adorable as you sleep. Making me even more unable to do so, I do hope you could forgive me.
Sincerely,
Robbie
As I read the letter I couldn't help but blush, he thought I was cute…could it be that-wait, no! no! I've only known him for a day. Jeez Rachelle will you have some dignity.
After some moment of denial and daydreaming, I finally changed my clothes. The dress was fairly simple it was consist of a long black skirt and a long white sleeved button up with a ribbon as a tie. As I finish getting dress I found out that the skirt has pockets on the side but hidden by the flits. I then put my phone, keys, and more importantly Robbie's letter inside for safekeeping.
Sometime later I heard a knock on the door then Robbie spoke which caused me to blush.
"Rachelle Are you ready?" he asked
"Ah! Yes, I am one moment please" I answered…
As I exited the room I met the sibling and accidentally looked into Robbie's eyes, which made me blush…
I looked away immediately "shall we go?" I ask, still avoiding eye contact
"Let's go then" Robbie said
Is it just me or he sounded sad?
I shook it off not wanting any misunderstanding.
ROBBIE'S POV
Rachelle is acting a bit odd, but I didn't want to pry. Therefore I just proceeded on locking the door getting ready to leave. Alexander's house is deep within the woods but isn't that far, but I know it'll take time to convince him to help so we should go earlier.
I could only hope that Alexander treats Rachelle kindly. He could be rude to a lot of people so I could only hope for the best and with that, I sighed.
RACHELLE'S POV
I heard a small sigh from Robbie and I can't but wonder what's bothering him. I would like to ask him but I didn't want to, after this morning I've been having a hard time trying to talk to him. So I just walked alongside them silently.
The walk was long and a bit difficult because of the terrain, which has slippery slopes and rocky steps. Although the forest was beautiful, majestic even. It was filled with wild beautiful flower: purple corn-cockles are blooming in the sides, ramsons are littered everywhere and so as daisies. I also noted the sounds of birds chirping in the sides, happily flying from branch to branch. While trees like fines, oaks, and willows stand tall almost covering the view of the sky from where I stand.
After a good amount of time Robbie finally spoke "And here we are" he said looking at me with a smile on his handsome face.
I looked ahead and saw a huge mansion that looks astonishing but creepy at the same time. Its stone walls are mostly covered with ivies climbing their way to the top for some time now, the glass windows shine faintly from the little light their receiving, tiled roofs are old, moldy, and littered with leaves from the surrounding trees. It was definitely a sight to behold, a beautiful old house in the middle of nowhere with minimal light shining its way. As if a gorgeous woman deprived of happiness yet still brilliantly astonish everyone.
Robbie walked on, reaching the doorsteps he proceeded to knock on the double wooden doors. However nothing happened, no one answered the doors. But he didn't give up he knocked again and again and for the nth time he kept on knocking.
Until a man who appears to be angry opened the doors. His blond hair looks messy, emerald eyes shimmered furiously not hiding any once of anger due to the previous disturbance, and his lips curved in a deep frown. With brows cross as he looked at us then at Robbie, he sighed and rolled his eyes.
"What is it this time?" he asked with his thick British accent, Robbie only smiled.
While Kristy bluntly said "Oh no his in a bad mood"
The man looked at Kristy "nice to see you too Kristy" giving her a sarcastic smile
He then looked at Robbie with a questioning look, still standing in the doorway.
Robbie smiled sheepishly "I need your help"
"With what?" the man asked demanding for more information.
Then Robbie pointed at me…
Only for the man to sigh and turn his back "No, I can't help you this time"
"Why?" Robbie asked as if like a whining
They turned to us once again and looked directly at me his frown change into a smirk, which looks handsome yet I could feel in my guts that I would hate.
"Oh because I don't allow dogs inside the house"
Then I understand his reason… but, wait… we didn't bring a dog.
A moment of realization hit me. I saw Robbie sweatdropped and Kristy hold my hand tighter than before.
He… this rude and grumpy man with bird nest looking hair just called me a dog! I don't even look like one! Also, dogs are adorable!
I let go of Kristy and step forward with no intention of hiding my anger.
"What was that again nest head?!" I ask furiously.
He then scoffed clearly irked but smirked once more "bring it on frog face" accent getting even thicker.
At that moment I completely lost my cool and rolled up and right sleeve of my shirt "That's it! I'm so punching your ear!"
