NARRATOR'S POV
A strong warm breeze passed by- blowing away the tiniest strand of hope the two travelers have left. How could it be? That such misfortune fell upon their shoulders.
Robbie clenched his jaw as his hand turned into a fist- his entire being trembling due to some unexplained feeling. Was it from anger? Worry? Frustration? Disappointment?
He himself cannot tell yet the underlying truth that they are once again against facing a problem remained.
Like a slap in the face or punch in the gut- the horrible feeling lingered in his heart.
"What should we now?" Brennan asked while looking at the bridge.
The hanging bridge has been oddly cut from the middle, both sides were dangling from either side of the cliff- as the other ends of the ropes remained tied in the wooden post at the edge of the cliff. From the side, you could see the dark seemingly endless fall. The bottom remained unseen- nothing but pure darkness.
