WITH DEATH COMES DAWN

NARRATOR'S POV

Hannah stood over the witch, who remained unmoved. Her consciousness is yet to return, like a helpless infant she has no means to protect herself. Hannah on the other hand could feel her non-existing heart, beat so wildly inside her chest. It had been such a very long time since she killed anyone. The feeling of the knife against her porcelain hand was so familiar- as if she was home once again. Yet she can't deny the fact that she could feel the growing guilt inside of her heart, she was supposed to be redeeming herself. She was supposed to change and live a somewhat normal life. As normal as possible being a porcelain servant to an immortal man that is.

Holding the knife against the witch, she remembered her promise to Alexander.
