"Hey, wait on me, wait!"

After several minutes of running and panting, he could hold the mad man in his gaze. He kept walking behind the man. He kept a rather close pace behind him. No matter how swiftly he did run, he couldn't possibly catch up with him.

The man stopped few metres ahead of him under a particular tree. From the distance, to the Duke, the tree seemed like a boabab. There should be something about boabab and the man.

The man dipped his long claws into the bark of the tree and stripped a part off. He did same to few other spots and slid the barks into his leather skin. Then he kept on tumbling towards the lapping waters.

"Wait on me, I might just get lost."

The mad man looked back for once. Not because he was in pity of the Duke but because, well the Duke had no idea why the fellow did look back.

He turned and hastened ahead again. The Duke kept running as though he was going to poo in his robe.
