"Wait on. Wait, please. Quit running. Wait."

Vulcan kept shouting as he ran through the woods. He could still see the shades and the silhouette of the lady up ahead of him.

He must be sincere with himself, the lady was as swift as fuck. Her limbs seemed so light that he was forced to think that she wasn't a human.

He watched her miss some fallen trunks twice and kinda vanished from sight. He had no idea how she did that.

They were nothing close to the village which that forest led to, and he was sure that there was no hiding place there.

All he could see before him were endless trees with large branches and birds tweeting, chirping and some rusty raven cawing.

He was standing before a very tall tree. A palm tree. He looked around it, then up ahead of where he was standing, there was no sign of the lady.

He looked down at himself, he was still in his pants. He sighed.

"Where'd she go to?"
