164 - In love with Athena

"What did you do back on earth?"

Athena said walking back from the library. She went to the part of the room closely tantamount to the kitchen. She took two long but metal cups and filled them with what from distance was close to wine. He couldn't be really sure.

She walked to him and handed him one of the cups. He collected and placed it on the stool closer to the chair he was seated on.

She returned to the bed.

He had been the one who had created the distance between the two of them. He had stood up from bed after that round of sex.

"I was a poet."

He said and picked up the cup. He took a swig and looked directly at the shelf of books. He didn't know why she would want to read that many a books.

"You're no longer?"

She argued, her eyes pinned on his flushing face. He had no idea how keenly she was looking at him. That was quite reasonable.

"Hard to tell."
