"Here we are."

She said as she began to descend till she had her soles brushing the tips of the golden floor.

She stood there, with him on her back and his arms wrapped over the swell of her breast. He didn't want to let her go.

"We're here."

She said again. The wings were tucked in but he still haven't found a reason to let go of her.

"I can't walk like this."

She said for the last time. He wanted her to be annoyed. He didn't know if that was the best thought.

But she didn't pick an offense. She only had said those sternly and wasn't going to repeat herself.

He squeezed her for the last time. The feeling had been one of the best he had ever nursed or had in a long time. He should cherish it.
