#Chapter 39

*Rose's POV*

There was a loud knock on the door which was enough to jerk me awake.

It was the first of September.

I quickly took a shower and looked at my watch. Merlin's beard, it was ten am. I looked around, I had so much to do. Last night I hadn't packed as I was doing my homework. The teachers had given us too much holiday work.

I wasn't able to do it because of the singing and dance classes. I thought I would have managed to finish it yesterday, but I had fallen asleep midway.

Making my mind, I quickly packed my trunk, and rushed downstairs.

"Why are you in a rush?" Sev asked.

"You teachers pile up to much homework."

Sev chuckled,"Why didn't you do your work before having fun? Now you have to pay the price."

"Sure whatever. I will do my work in the train," I replied taking a piece of toast.

"Why do we even have to go to school," I groaned.

"Because you have to learn to control your magic," Sev said,"Get up, or you will be late."

I sighed as I stood up. Sev held my trunk, and together we flooed our way to the Kings cross Station.

I waved him goodbye, before going onto Platform nine and three quarters.

I got near the train, struggling to carry my trunk in as well as holding Midnight's cage.

"Needs some help?" Said a familiar voice.

It was Blaise.

I smiled at him,"Yes please."

Together, we managed to pull my trunk onto the train.

"Thanks," I said panting.

He replied,"No problem."

We went to our compartment. I said 'Hi' to everyone, then immediately sat down to do my school work.

And that is how you turn vinegar into wine.

I smiled at myself as I finish the last of my charms work. I was finally done.

"Right, what did I miss?" I asked my friends.

"Alot," Draco said,"We were just talking about Sirius Black."

"Who is that?" I replied, confused.

They all stared at me as if I was mad.

Draco then sighed,"Oh yeah, I forgot you don't read the Daily Prophet. Sirius black was a murderer and a follower of you-know-who. He was caught and went to azkaban for it. But recently, he escaped, and he was the first one to ever done so."

"No way!"

All of a sudden the train jerked to halt.

"What happened?" Tracey asked.

"I dq AQon't know, but I am definitely scared," Pansy replied.

Draco smirked,"You guys are scaredy-cats!"

I rolled my eyes,"Stop trying to show off, Draco, we should be concerned to why the train stopped."

"Well,"Draco said,"My father will definitely hear about this."

"I'm sure he will."

"G-guys?" Pansy interrupted,"Why has the window turned into ice?"

I shrugged,"Maybe just a weather change."

The compartment door slid open and a dark hooded figure came in.

Someone screamed. I looked to see who it was, and it turned out to be Draco. He's body was trembling. I giggled at him.

The hooded figure came towards me, and did something that made me feel sad. Visions went through my mind. There was one with three toddlers, before I could make sense of it there was another vision.

This time there was a curly-haired lady, she looked mad. The lady had her wand at pointed at me, she opened her mouth to say a spell, but I was gone through the same process.

My third vision was me. I was just standing there in the dark, crying.

Everything was blank.

I slowly opened my eyes, blinking them very quickly.

Draco was looking around embarrassed because Fred and George were smirking the heads off outside our compartment door.

I ignored them and started checking if my friends were alright.

"That was a horrible feeling,"Tracey said.

"I was so scared,"Pansy added.

"Great. You just described yourself," replied Draco.

I smirked,"You're talking. I saw you trembling. You even screamed. I thought it was one of us girls."

We giggled.

Draco stuttered"No I didn't! That was Daphne."

"Don't point stuff at me, we all know it was you," Daphne replied.

Draco look at the boys for help, but they shook their heads to say that we had a point.

"Anyway, what were those things?" I asked.

"Those were dementors," Draco said,"They guard azkaban. I bet they were looking for Black, and I hope they find him fast. Last week the ministry brought dementors to our Mansion just to do a quick look around in case Black was hiding with us. My father was not happy about it."

"They did that to us too," Daphne said.

The train soon started to move. All of us were ready, and changed into our robes.

"Guys, did you hear?" Pansy asked

"I heard a lot of things, which one are you talking about?" Blaise asked.

Pansy rolled her eyes,"Potter fainted during the dementor attack."

"No way!" they all exclaimed.

I didn't really say anything because, I too, partly fainted. Luckily no-one except Fred and George had seen.

OHNO- Fred and George had seen!! They were bound to tell people about it. I was going to be so embarrassed.

I ignored that thought hoping that they hadn't said a thing for my sake.

We went off the train and sat on the carraiges. My mind went back to the same thought that I had last year.... Why hadn't Draco commented about the ugly-looking horses yet?
