#Chapter 48

*Rose's POV*

Everyone could only talk about Sirius Black the next day.

I wanted to go straight up to their faces and say that they were wrong, Sirius was innocent, but I couldn't do anything.

My mind was full of thoughts, it was hard paying attention during classes, It was also hard to not go to Lupin and tell him that I knew that he was a wolf.

Teachers were confused to why I wasn't answering questions, even Hermione wanted to know what was going on.

"Please, Rose, just tell me!"

"I-I can't! Look 'moine, I want to tell you, but I gave my word, I never break my promise," I replied.

"Oh okay, what about the fact that I told you about the..." Hermione paused looked around, then whispered,"Time Turner. I promised Mcgonagal too, but I still told you."

"But Hermione, this is a pointless argument, if I told you then this person would be in even more danger than he already is-"

"So this person is a he?" Hermione questioned.

I facepalmed myself, I had to keep my mouth shut, after all, Hermione was the brightest witch I ever knew and she could get clues for very little of things.

"Fine," she said,"Don't tell, for your sake I will leave this argument. But that doesn't stop me from trying to find out."

I nodded,"Sounds fair."

*

We were in Defence Against The Dark Arts and I was staring out the window, thinking about how Lupin was a wolf.

No wonder his Boggart had turned into a Moon!

It all made sens-!

"Miss Rose."

I looked at Lupin, he looked at me back.

"This is the third time I have to tell you pay attention," he said, "Please see me after class."

Everyone was staring at me.

I burried my face in my hands, embarrassed. Perhaps finding Sirius and him telling me everything had been a bad idea. I had lost concentration in classes.

After Defence Against The Dark Arts had finished, I went forward to Lupin. He was sat on his desk.

Lupin nodded to the chair in front of him indicating me that I should sit down, which then I did.

"Rose," he said,"You used to be the one answering questions in class, you were always paying attention. I feel as if something is bothering you."

I sighed, wishing I could tell him everything.

He joined me in sighing as well.

Perhaps we could make a sighing club?

"I have told you to pay attention three times today, as you already know," Lupin continued,"I am afraid that I will have to give you detention."

Ohno, this was the second time at Hogwarts I had gotten detention. Getting detention was not good.

"I shall inform you to when we are to have detention, and I will be discussing this matter with Professor Snape."

"Yes Professor Lupin."

With that I was to leave. My mind was racing, I had too many thoughts.

*

"We won't be playing against Gryffindor this upcoming match, it will be Hufflepuff" Flint told me in the Slytherin common room.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Draco's dad told the school that it was too dangerous for him to play with his arm hurt.."

I glared at Draco.

"I am sorry! I tried telling father that my arm was alright, but he wouldn't listen!" Draco said, wanting to keep our friendhip stable.

I too, wanted to keep our friendship with Draco,"I believe you."

Draco smiled at me looking relieved.

*

We were, once again, in Defence Against The Dark Arts, waiting for Professor Lupin.

Then it suddenly clicked me, he wouldn't be able to come because of full moon. But then who would be teaching us?

As if on cue, Sev came into the room, closing all the windows, making the room dark.

I rolled my eyes.

Typical.

He went to where Lupin's desk was, and rolled out the projector we were to use, then he looked at us.

"Turn to page 394," Was all Sev said.

I got out my book, but then got wrapped back into my thoughts.

Sev came to me,"Please turn to page 394."

"Oh," I said, and quickly grabbed my book, flipping pages.

Sev started to walk around the classroom.

"Excuse me, Sir," Harry said,"Where is Professor Lupin?"

I facepalmed myself. How could the boy who lived not even know simple thing.

"It's not really your concern, is it Potter?" Sev replied,"I am sorry to say but your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at present time. Turn to page 394."

He then went to the back of the room, tapping his book and projector with his wand.

All of a sudden, he pointed his wand at Ron's book, which flipped itself to page 394.

I laughed quietly at his expression.

"Werewolves," Ron murmured confused.

"But Sir," Hermione suddenly said. She wasn't sitting next to Harry before.. Oh wait she used her time turner.

"We have just started learning about Redcaps and Hinkypuffs. We arent supposed to start Werewolves for weeks."

"Be quiet," Sev said to Hermione.

"Did you hear her coming in?" I heard Ron ask Harry.

I had the urge to tell him about the Time Turner, but I knew I couldn't.

"Now," Sev carried on,"Which one of you could tell me the difference between an animagus and a Werewolf?"

Hermione raised her hand, I knew the answer too, but I stayed still.

"No one?" Sev asked without turning around,"How disappointing."

"Please, Sir," Hermione said,"An animagus is a wizard who elects to be an animal, a werewolf has no choice. With each full moon it transforms, it no longer remembers who it is-"

Sev cut her off," That is the secong time who have spoken without being chosen too, Miss Granger. Are you not capable of restraining yourself? Or do you take pride off being an insufferable know-it-all."

I started breathing heavily, my mind was racing, I thought it would burst out any moment. I hated when Sev shouted at her, she was my best friend and I couldn't even do anything for her.

"Stop!" I shouted, all my stress finally coming out,"How would you like it if omeone called you a know-it-all, you anyways act like that! Hermione is a legend something you even couldn't do, she is able to learn the whole textbook by heart!"

Sev glared at me,"That. Is. Enough Miss Rose, that is detentione for you."

"Fine," I muttered,"As if I care."

I barely payed attention in class. I had to talk to someone, this only person who would listen quietly was Sirius.
