Kara Danvers – also known as through the city she protects; National City, as Supergirl.

"So, mind telling who the 'Emperor' is?"

The cousin to the Superhero – Superman, had questioned. Though Kara does not expect that information could be obtained discretely, and easily, as she isn't trained in the arts. Her curiosity and objectives align when the topic is regarded to the Imperium and its national interest.

But to her surprise, it seems she was rather about to be schooled than avoided. "The God-Emperor is the Master of Mankind; The Revelation, and the monarch of the Imperium of Man." The Watchmaster explained.

In a sign as to not remotely come out as offensive, Kara had just opted for a nod as a gesture of understanding. "Then the one that transpired in the Hall of Justice – where you were told this was Earth…"

The Watchmaster may have not voiced out what she had thought when the term "Earth" had been used for the planet they were claimed to be at. But Kara could be considered observant enough to notice the anger that seethed from the Watchmaster at that time when she had clutched her hands into a rock.

"What you assumed and looked to gather is both correct. The Emperor is situated at Holy Terra, Earth, and is seated on his Golden Throne." Though it seemed that the Watchmaster would not disclose any further information outside the questions asked, it appears the Watchmaster doesn't seem to hide the information if asked.

'Hmm – so I just need to ask the right questions. Easier said than done.'

"I see…"

Though for now, it seems that is all Kara had to question.

"Looks like the entrance is blocked shut." Supergirl addressed the issue as the three came to a halt in front of the crumbled and collapsed entry. Almost without a word, or noise – the korpsmen began to shovel their way in, and in search of perhaps other entries. 'No, you can't be serious' Kara shockingly questioned, almost flabbergasted by the choice of action.

"Excuse me" was all Supergirl offered, as she politely swept in and melted the rubbles and boulders in the path.

'They wouldn't mind, would they?' Kara was reminded of their gushing hate for so-called Psykers. But not greater than their venomous disgust towards aliens. 'Yeah, I'll be fine. They won't know' she reassured.

In an absent remark, Kara was relieved that at least any negative view was kept to themselves, if any, or in an alternative – the korpsmen just couldn't be bothered, and that it had just been the cause of her overthinking to be so anxious.

"Well then, shall we proceed?"

It was eerie, and it was cold – with only the heavy footsteps that walked being an additional sound to the strong brushing wind within the ruined cathedral.

In mild speculation, certain parts of the ceiling had strumbled and fell, and the floors cracked and broken. Yet, the large and gigantic pillars that held the hall and its structures were still impressively stern and firm. 'I wonder how this place had looked before…'

Kara halted in her thought, as she inspected what seemed to be an altar which was at the center and end of the hall. 'There are a lot of wax candles here.'

'Perhaps what I had felt that had been missing – was a statue'

Supergirl finalize as she took a few steps back as she attempted to behold the sight, only to be disappointed when it seemed it had toppled over and had been crumbled and destroyed.

"The Emperor's Proud Sons"

"Huh?"

Kara heard, but in terms of understanding, she was uneducated and oblivious to both the history and the context.

"Adeptus Astartes, Sir." The Watchmaster took her time to reply as she stared at where the statue should be.

"They are Space Marines, though there are many chapters and legions, each has their own Primarch – alas most have perished and others have gone – They are a Warrior's merit, with Unbreakable spirit; the Supreme Defenders, Astartes."

It was silent between the two as the Watchmaster's words sank in. 'Based on how she describes them, these Space Marines seemed to be an idol admired. I should take note of this and report this info later to Alex.'

"This is Lieutenant Sandra. Watchmaster, do you copy?" the slight frantic voice questioned.

In a haste rush to catch up with the Superhero who had taken to the skies and gone on ahead, the soldiers made quick work of reaching the parked vehicle.

"Hurry up Sandra! You're the damn driver!" Nick beckoned as he screamed while he ran, encouraging the panting lieutenant from straying too far behind, and knowing that even if she could afford to say something back – she couldn't.

While in their run, Nick had noticed that the korpsmen weren't even displaying signs of fatigue based on their odd stable breathing through the sounds their gas mask emits. 'Damn, these guys are hardcore.' Nick wondered as he was impressed as he watched and assumed the overall weight of their equipment, plus their gas mask.

'Wouldn't wearing that just only serve to tire them out?'

The Lieutenant had many fascinating questions he just had to ask.

"Get in the damn car! Drive!" Nick continues to yell as he and the korpsmen have already settled in. "I will kill you; I will definitely kill you!" The woman crazily stated as she huffed and pants, and nearly coughed as she spoke. "Sure, but for now! Pedal to the metal!"

"This is Lieutenant Sandra. Watchmaster, do you copy?" the slight frantic voice questioned.

"Reading."

"An attack has just occurred in the downtown street! It seems to be Indigo!"

At the Superhero's sharp hearing, in almost an immediate effect she burst out through the cathedral's entrance as she soared to the skies.
