Solutions?

Just looking at the broken window that seems to jitter as the characters scramble every few seconds. Krave looks at the golem with concern.

"What happened? What does your status look like?"

Omni just sighs. "Is there a way to let others see your status window?"

The old demon nods. "Just think 'Status Share' when focusing on one or all of us. Are you sure you're fine with sharing that information though?"

The golem extends its energy to pull the broken pieces back to its body and repair itself, then sits up. "I see no reason not to. There is nothing there that could be used against me." It states, then proceeds to share the glitchy window with each present.

Krave, Niramia, Silverbeard, and Charlotte were all equally baffled at the sight. Charlotte and Silverbeard quickly dismiss the window, feeling queasy just looking at it. Niramia had more interest and fortitude, pushing through the feeling, and Krave was feeling all sorts of things.

"The status boards are things granted to us by the higher powers like Twilight, how could it break?" Charlotte mumbled, clutching her hands together in prayer.

Krave rubs his chin as he stares intently at the scrambled, shifting window. "Well... It's not unbelievable that the gods aren't absolute. The fact that such things are fallible makes me a bit more comfortable, actually."

"The more important thing is what do we do about this? Didn't things get worse?" Silverbeard asks, scratching his beard and looking at Omni with worry.

"Shouldn't you know best, shorty?" Niramia replies. "That old lizard sent you here, right? Since he knows about the 'blurred lines' or whatever, can't we just send Omni back with you?"

The dwarf sighs heavily. "I'd probably get chewed out, but maybe you're right."

Niramia nods. "Of course I am. And as the golem itself said, it needs to get stronger. What better place to learn about metals than the Dwarven Capital?"

Omni finally gets to its feet. "Dwarven Capital... It was named Diesel, right?"

"What? No, it was Diel'derose." Krave states, frowning. "Are you bad at remembering names, or is that caused by what's happening?"

The golem shrugs. "I was never one for names. Especially long ones like that." It mutters, focusing on checking its body to make sure everything was repaired rightly.

Charlotte seems to have recovered from the nausea and shock, smiling warmly. "I will pray for you and your journey."

"I guess it's decided where I'm going then? I don't have any better ideas, so I'll go." Omni says to nobody in particular.

Krave nods, stroking his beard. "Before that, what about your skills? Some seem to be missing, and Harmonize has become advanced. There's also that Zhnuok thing... I've never heard of anything like that."

The golem shrugs again. "Don't know. It won't activate on command like my other skills. As for the missing ones..." It tries to activate Hazard Storage, which had vanished. It nearly doubles over, feeling a pain in its core. "...!?" Despite the pain, it can feel the skill did indeed activate.

Silverbeard moves to support Omni. "Easy there, you good?"

Omni collects itself and nods. "Hazard Storage still works, but it hurts to activate it." It explains. It moves on to using the other skills still listed one by one. "... The skills that are still listed don't cause pain. Hmm..."

Krave hums as he thinks on it. "... Energy Manipulation wasn't listed, but you seemed to be able to use it just fine."

Omni shakes its head. "I don't know how much that skill actually helped, as I was able to manipulate my energy fairly well in the dungeon before I had received that skill." It explains, causing the old demon to give an 'ah'. It continues testing its skills, unable to get much out of Advanced Gravity magic, likely from a lack of understanding. Advanced Harmonize wouldn't activate, as it had disconnected all the cores from it earlier.

It thinks to itself while Niramia pulls Charlotte, Krave, and Silverbeard into a huddle to discuss something. Despite Energy Manipulation being 'lost', it feels like it could wield its energy better than before, though using more than a certain amount caused the same pain as trying to use a 'lost skill' like Hazard Storage.

Omni feels at a loss, with its skills and status board in such a state, it couldn't think of any way to remedy the situation. Not to mention the energy value wasn't even legible anymore. Its thoughts and the four man huddle is interrupted by the quick sound of footsteps, causing all five to turn towards the source.

"Ah, Dean, right?" Omni asks, looking at the tall demon with green eyes approaching.

Dean nods. "I was making my way back to the adventurer's guild when reports of a blinding light and the Myth Monolith disappearing. While it was brought up as a possibility in the audience, I didn't believe it could actually happen~."

Niramia looks between Omni and Dean. "Hmm~..." She grins mischievously, an expression that causes Dean's smirk to fall. "You two know each other already? Ah right, Omni was Atlas, and you were the one who brought the first proper reports about it. Purrrfect~."

Dean apprehensively smiles. "And what do you need from me, Queen Niramia?"

Niramia looks at Charlotte and Silverbeard. "It's decided then. Omni has to head to the Dwarven Capital Diel'derose to meet with the old lizard. Obviously, Silverbeard is going back with it, and just now I've decided that Priestess Charlotte and Special Officer Dean will accompany them." She speaks in a commanding tone with a bright grin.

Charlotte isn't too surprised, as that was part of the discussion in the huddle, but Dean spurts and coughs. "You want me to go to Diel'derose? That's a month's journey by cart at the very best conditions! Don't I get any say in this?"

Niramia folds her arms. "Nope. This is a Royal Command!"

Dean sighs and scratches the back of his head while closing one eye. "... Commanding a member of the Adventurer's Guild so easily like that, aren't you worried about backlash?"

Niramia laughs. "Oh please, I'm sure you're quite interested in finding out what will happen with Omni, right? Didn't you try to recruit it upon first contact?"

Omni pokes in. "Yes, he did so shamelessly."

Dean throws his hands up. "Fine, you got me. I'll go, but I expect proper pay. And you have to be the one to explain it to Charlie. I'm not going anywhere near that can of worms."

Niramia falters a bit, showing reluctance for the first time since Omni has met her. Krave raises an eyebrow. "Oho? What's this? Could it be our Queen has trouble dealing with ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ต Charlie~?" Krave says in a teasing manner.

"Quiet you. Fine, I'll talk to Charlie." The Queen grumbles.

"... Pft~." Omni lets out an uncharacteristic laugh, drawing eyes from everyone. "You all seem to get along quite well. I had a far different image of royalty."

Silverbeard chuckles. "Well, the ones at the top are all rather eccentric."

"That means you too, shorty." Niramia growls, but Silverbeard just grins.

"Anyways. You said it will take an entire month to get to Diel'derose, right? Do we have that much time? What about the war?" Omni asks.

Niramia waves it off. "That's if you take a carriage. I'll arrange for an airship for you, should only take uhh... One or two weeks?" She says.

"Why do you sound so unsure?" Omni asks, narrowing its now open eyes at the Queen.

Krave respons before the Queen can. "The same skyrock that allows the airships to function also draws monsters from above the clouds if the ship is in the air for too long, meaning you'd have to make regular stops, or be strong enough to fend them off."

Niramia sighs. "We can only afford to send you in a small ship, as the bigger ones are all pre-occupied moving supplies and soldiers. That means that other than the crew, it'll be just the four of you."

Dean nods and frowns. "Which means of the four of us and the crew, Omni is likely the only one capable of defending the ship."

"... Are you serious? I understand a Priestess not fighting and the Dwarven King being... Well, a king. But can't you fight, Dean?" The golem questions.

Dean scratches the back of his neck and chuckles nervously. "I ๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ฏ fight, but as a Special Officer of the Adventurer's Guild, there's a bit of... Red tape." He admits.

Omni looks at the meek Dean for a bit then sighs. "I can understand that. I've been on the wrong side of red tape more than a few times a long time ago."

Dean sticks out the tip of his tongue playfully. "Glad you can understand, so many people have moaned and complained about it. Even if everybody stays quiet, Charlie ends up finding out anyways and I get a full day of paperwork as punishment."

Krave chuckles. "Nobody likes red tape and bureaucracy but it exists for a reason. So, a party consisting of a King, a singularity Golem, a Priestess, and a Special Officer, eh? Almost makes me want to come along too."

Niramia frowns. "Not a chance old man, you've got responsibilities. You ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ go if you want, but I'll immediately pull your funding.

The old demon sighs and rolls his hand on his wrist. "Yeah yeah, anyways... What about the golems that were running under Omni's Harmonize? That big one... John was it? It's unlikely we can get an easy replacement for it to carry out the constant movement of food for the ongoing deal between the Tower and The Quiet Respite."

Omni hums a bit. "... Well, Harmonize did advance, but at the same time, until the issues with my core and soul are solved, I am apprehensive about keeping other golems connected to my core."

Krave sighs. "What a shame. We should at the very least test out the upgraded Harmonize, perhaps there's a solution already?"

The golem nods. "There's no harm in it. The first stop will be The Quiet Respite then." It states, internally checking its map of the city before marching off towards the direction of the restaurant.
