Chapter 7
I slashed away an armoured claw that attacked me while Rez was busy dodging The ice breath from the wyvern. It had been a week since Rez met his brother who was nowhere giving him advice on how to properly use Space rift.
A crackling sound was heard as Rez rifted to the head of the wyvern and stabbed it in the eye. The wyvern screamed in pain as I slashed it's the non armoured part under its neck and then rearranged its heart to the place I was going to attack. I then stabbed it with my sword as it was flailing around because of its broken eyes and its insides being churned, quite literally. It fell on the floor as the life left its eyes.
"Damn dude I can't get enough out of that sick organ rearrangement and stuff, it's just so cool," said Rez as he rifted next to me.
"Hey I've been wondering, since I can rearrange and bring out the organs then does that mean I can steal axels by taking the crystals?" I asked
his expression darkened as I said this made me feel like I shouldn't have said it.
"Theoretically it is possible" Chimed in Eterna who was watching them "But I think you should only do that to those who deserve it don't you think"
"yea actually that was what I was thinking too," I said nervously glancing over to Rez
"yea I think that would be cool then because then they can't do what they did before as efficiently as before" clearly thinking about how his brother had died
"Hey Rez chill I know your thinking about stealing my axel back but that can wait, now you gotta train for the tournament of towers." Said, Nez
"Yeah well I'll go get some sleep" Said Rez as he dissipated from the Pocket dimension.
"yup I need some sleep too," I said as I left the pocket dimension and fell into my bed

There is one more month till the beginning of The tournament of towers. Rez and I had already signed up for it. There were also three other first years who joined for it, the names were now filled and no more sign ups would be accepted.
"Hey did you hear that Gem teal is going to participate in the tournament of towers?"
"yea I did, there are a few other first years too- I feel bad for her opponents"
"Ha I can't wait to see her beat the shut out of her opponents"
Like this, the students kept on murmuring about the new transfer student whose name was Gem Teal who is the daughter of Two S-rank axel users.
She had an original axel, her mom's axel was procuring substance from her skin and her dad's axel was Bone strengthening, her axel is procuring really really strong and durable bones from her body. Cool I guess.
We entered the class and there sitting in my favorite corner was Gem, gosh dammit what the heck, Why...WHY... WHY IN THE NAME OF NEXUS.
"Hello, Why did you call me?" asked a voice that I immediately recognized as that from Nexus
"umm...sorry for calling you I was just really annoyed at that girl who was sitting in my place so sorry," I said apologetically hoping he wouldn't kill me or something
"uh what a waste of time" he said irritably as he left
shit that was nerve wracking
anyways I need to get this person off my place that is the introverts paradise.
"Hey your in my place so can you please move so I can get back to little to no social interaction" I said looking irritated
The entire class just looked at me and flinched
"Woah the dude's got some nerve"
"yeah he ain't getting out of here in one piece"
"idiot just got himself killed"
The murmurs continued
Gem ignored me at first but I stayed rooted to my spot
"Huh is your name written here?" she asked mockingly
"as a matter of fact, there is" I said pointing toward my chair which had 'RAILAN' carved into it.
She clicked her tongue and said "so let's settle this in the stadium after all the sessions then"
OOH and AAH engulfed the room as everyone talked amongst themselves
"Sure you can have the seat until then, after all, it will be your last few moments there," I said confidently as I walked over to another corned and sat down
"dude you sure about this?" asked Rez glancing over to Gem every now And then
"maybe it would be better to drop it now and have a duel in the tournament of towers"
"noo way," I said
"This is a perfect opportunity to fight someone who isn't a monster In a pocket dimension and plus what could go wrong? I'm really good at using my axel" I said quite confidently

We were at the stadium as I got ready, students were allowed to duel and their wins would be used in the ranking system. And for these battles just like the Entrance exam if a fatal blow would be delivered, then Louis would teleport them out. the way to win was to teleport your opponent out, you were allowed to use any weapons and any armor, this seemed unfair as those who were richer could get their hands on better equipment, of course, I outsmarted that system.
I entered the Stadium and saw that the entirety of our class and a few other classes had come to watch the battle and all of them were cheering for Gem, SIMPS.
After me a girl around the same age with jet black hair at shoulder length, Dark blue eyes, a pale yet mesmerizing face, and a fit physique entered wearing light blue padded armour all over her and holding two short swords, that was Gem Teal
"3...2.....1. BEGIN" Yelled Louis who had short red hair and wore a casual red t-shirt and black pants.
Gem launched forward by procuring what looked like a long white pole out of her leg, as she neared I grazed her skin a little with my sword as I sidestepped, a little drop if blood fell to the ground, she's a dead woman now I thought. I closed my eyes and concentrated, I could feel her organ systems working her nerves sending messages into her brain, and from it, I could even feel what she was going to do and even see her axel crystal right near her heart. At first I got tempted, after all the axel was really cool and I had it in my grasp but I quickly snapped out of it and plugged out her nerves and shuffles each of them, Heh this will be amusing to watch.
Everyone watched in surprise and horror as her body mover weirdly and she mover her head instead of her arm when she tried and used her axel which shot out bone spikes when she tried to make her leg joints.
In the end, I just walked up to her and pushed my sword forward as Louis teleported her out and declared me the winner. Everyone in the stall Except for Rez was surprised to see Gem lose so easily, as they thought, Just who was this guy?
