Hasha wore his half-face golden helmet, unplugged his silver sword from grassy land. "Let's do this," he looked at the bright green pillar-like World Gate that lit the surrounding in the night.
There were 33 hunters, wearing different armor, attire, carrying different weapons, leading by a black-armored D-rank Hunter Shin. Hasha was at the end, he too wore and full-body straight plate golden armor. The big armor and a pointed large silver sword made him look big and menacing warrior.
They began to enter the E-rank World Gate. The gate was made of green light, streaming down.
Hasha carefully looked at those streaming green lights. He touched the green lights with his armored hand. "Just lights," he felt nothing. He walked into the lights, there was nothing but green lights falling down. After two seconds, he came out of those lights. A cool breeze hit him and he saw something he hadn't seen before.
The world had a clear blue sky with two moons; a yellow moon and a small ringed brown moon. They were on vast light pink grassland with few short, light pink trees. The short trees had a light brown trunk, branches, and light pink leaves.
"Wow," Hiro was amazed. He hadn't seen anything like this before except in pictures, games, and movies. He felt it real. He looked behind, where he came from, a pillar of green light, streaming upwards. He thought, "This one is streaming upwards."
Shin, a mission leader, a golden and black armored D-rank hunter with a long sword said, " Welcome to FW-PE."
FW-PE, Fallen World-Pink Environment, a name given to the fallen world they were in right now.
The hunters took out their phones from the small brown, sack-like bags, on their waist, inside pockets, armor, and started taking photos. The small sack-like bag was storing items.
"Looks like everyone has a storing item, " Hasha thought after seeing the hunters took out their phones from it. Ushio had also given him such an item. He had it hidden somewhere inside the armor. He thought, "This must be a storing item most E-rank hunters use."
The technology worked in the Fallen World as long as the World Gate was there. However, recording the hunt/ mission was strictly prohibited. When closed the technologies of Earth became useless and rusty.
"FW-PE," Hasha thought while looking at the limitless pink grassland. He looked at the ground.
The grass was all light pink like cherry blossom.
"Tsk, look at them. Acting like a tourist," said a brown-haired, tall hunter wearing grey and red padded armor.
"Haha, Looks like they became a hunter for sightseeing," said the blue-haired hunter wearing the same armor as previous; grey and red padded armor.
The brown hair was Kotaru Kato and the blue hair was Minato Abe. They were tall and lean E-rank hunters just like others and had done few missions before. They both carried a long sword with a red handle. They were observing others.
Kotaru said, "I hope they are weak."
Minato said, " So that they die fast and you get to take their gear, items if possible, and also have more monsters to kill by yourself."
"Aren't you thinking the same?" Kotaru asked.
They looked at each other and laughed loudly.
Minato said, " Taking the gears of dead hunters isn't easy and we have never seen any hunter die in E-rank mission."
"Yeah! but still - it would be great if we could do that," Kotaru said, "Especially that big golden armor guy. What do you think?" He was talking about Hasha.
Minato looked at Hasha, "The armor and that large sword look expensive. Their level must be high too. And what's with the purple line under his eyes - tattoo?"
"He must be a spoiled kid of rich parent," said Kotaru.
"It would be great if I can get my hands on those," Minato said, "But like I said, it's not possible."
"Yes," Minato said, " Not here, in E-rank mission but its different when you go to high-rank gates."
Kotaru said, "Let's hope, we will meet him in higher gates."
All the hunters were wearing some sort of body armor and had different weapons. Among them, Hasha had armor and swords that looked expensive compared to others. A large, heavy, golden armor, that was straight plates not padded, which didn't look like typical padded Knight's armor and a golden helmet. A large pointed silver color sword with a round golden handle.
Hasha looked at Minato and Kotaru. He thought, " They are observing us but ... especially me." He then looked around, "I should have brought my phone and took pictures too." Hasha had left his phone to Ushio.
Hiro thought, "Hasha's sharp senses seem to work here which means Hasha's power works in this world too."
Hasha was a player character of a game that Hiro used to play that transported in the real world and became real. Just like in a game Hiro could become Hasha by logging in the game and transferring into Hasha. Hasha could do anything he was able to do in-game the only thing that had changed was, the game system. The game windows, panels, board disappeared as it has adapted to the real world. Just like other hunters he had to do it manually by calling, using magic, etc.
While Hasha was tall, 6.6 ft. lean and muscular, Hiro was a 5.7 ft. thin boy, living in a village with his brother Ushio's parents. Right now he's was in a gaming pod.
Shin shouted, " Alright! that's enough taking photos. Now switch it off. You know the rules don't you; No recording the hunt or mission unless you have permission from the association."
The hunters switched off their phone and kept it inside their brown sack-like storing bag.
"Now let's get into position and move towards the site," Shin said, " 12 close combat hunters in frontline and 8 in the rear line, long-range attack hunters, mages, and healers will be in middle, in the midline."
Everyone got in position. 12 close combat hunters including Shin were in front, 4 archers, 2 crossbowmen, 4 mages, and 3 healers in the middle, and the other 8 close combat hunters at back.
The hunters in the back were complaining about how they wanted to be in the front line. Most of them wanted to be in front but there were already enough hunters for that.
Shin said, "those in the frontline are responsible for close combats and the mid, archers, crossbow hunters and mages will be responsible for long-range attacks, healers will heal the injured and the rear line will be reserved, exchange with frontliners if they are exhausted, injured or dead and also guard us against from rear."
The hunters at the back sighed, "Being support is the worst. " "You will never know when you get to have some action." "Frontline gets all the goods too."
Hasha was among the reserves in the rear line. He didn't move as he saw that others were also aiming to be on the frontline. He thought, "It seems everyone is eager to fight monsters."
Kotaru and Minato were in the front line. They seemed confident and proud.
There was no exact formation, it depended on the place, and the monsters. However, long-range attack hunters; archers, crossbowmen, mages, summoners, and other; healers were positioned in the middle or rear. Healers and priests were important and they were often protected and at back, at distance from the battle due to their nature and importance.
There were no priests and summoner for this mission.
"Few things that you must keep in mind," Shin said, " Do not wander around or break with the party without my permission, Do as I say, Save energy and potions, and the most important I know how all want to battle with monsters but remember, killing the source is first priority no matter what." He thought, " I hope they listen."
Minato asked, "What about the spoils, Party Leader. Since you are the mission leader you get to make rules for that too."
Shin replied, "Since this is an open or free gate where all hunters from the different guild participate, everyone gets the spoils, whoever finds it or kills it can take it. And I hope there will be no trouble between you guys."
"Yes! Sir, " all answered.
The hunters in the back were not happy, "If we are lucky then." We won't get any."
An open or free gate, a gate or hunt that anyone could apply for, no need to buy.
"Ok, then let's go," Shin walked in front of everyone.
Hasha thought, "I read that if it's an open gate that means there are valuable things if it wasn't it would be for sale or belong to the government."
With Shin leading them with the map, everybody followed. They walked on around the high and low pink grassland for 25 minutes.
Hasha walked and looked around. He thought, "The fallen world is full of uncertainties. A monster or natural beast could pop out from everywhere." He looked at the sky with two moons. He looked far ahead of the pink grasslands. "Always be alert, be cool and observe your surroundings - that what the swordmaster character said in the game.
Hiro thought, "But - walking in the fallen world, an alien world with such great scenery is great."
Hasha was enjoying the scenery while being careful. He thought, "They say World Gates can either lead to different Fallen Worlds or one world. Right now there might be another World gate and hunters like us in this world, carrying out the hunt." He looked far ahead at the lands.
After walking more than 20 minutes, up and down on the pink grassland slopes they were closer to the destination.
The mission leader stopped and everyone.
At 20 meters, down the pink grassy lands was a ring made of few pink trees. Inside, in the middle was a dark, large, ruined, ring structure covered by purple moss. It looked like an old, two-floor ring-shaped building. The destroyed walls, floors, and debris around were covered in purple moss.
Around that destroyed old ring shape building were green goblins.
Shin pointed towards the building, "That's where the source is, if we are lucky the source could be outside that old building."
"Green goblins, " Sol thought after looking at it, " That ruined building must have been a home for this world's natives, Dark elves."
Green goblins were short, ugly, less intelligent carnivore beings that even ate humans.
The FW-PE was once a home for short elves, dark elves different from Blitzen kinds.
Shin said, "From the information that scout had collected, there are about 50 green goblins, and the source was one of them."
"What! only 50?" "The frontlines are going to kill it all." The rear hunters talked. "The hunters acting as reserves won't be able to kill even one goblin if we kill them before," one hunter in frontline said.
"Enough," Shin said, "It may be considered as training but still disposing of them is our first priority especially the source, and remember you can get kill."
Minato and Kotaru laughed. Minato said, " Only losers die in E rank and that to the goblin." Kotaru said, "If they die it's not because of monsters it's because they were weak and unworthy to be a hunter."
Everyone laughed.
The E-rank Gates were mostly used as training for new hunters and E-rank hunters.
Shin thought, "This is why I don't like doing an E-rank hunt. All they care about is testing their skill, killing the monsters as many as they can because they think they can."
From the trees that surrounded the ruined buildings, few green goblins came out. They were taking shades in those trees and came out after hearing the hunter's laughs.
Minato said, "They are here."
Shin said, "It's because you guys laughed such loudly - so next time, do not make noise while you are hunting." He drew out his long sword. "Get ready front and the mid " the leader ordered.
The hunters in the frontline drew their weapons; mace, swords, axe, hammer, few shields, etc. Minato and Hotaru drew their red handle, pointed long swords.
The midline hunters also got ready; archers, crossbows, mages with staff
The ugly green goblins saw hunters at the top and ran towards them. There were 20 of them. Some goblins were wearing skulls and bone as armor, some wore full brown clothes, some were half-naked. Their weapons were small and long dagger or knife-like weapons made from either bones and metals, spiky clubs.
The green goblins ran towards the hunters at the top making gibberish noise.
The hunters were waiting at the top.
Shin was staring and waiting.
The green goblins closed half the distance.
Shin shouted," Midline."
The 4 archers, 4 crossbow hunters in mid-line stepped forward and attacked down at green goblins.
Some arrows hit the goblin's head, chest and killed them. The dead goblin rolled down on pink grassy land. While other arrows missed or only injured the goblins.
Archers and Crossbowmen rejoiced when they managed to hit and kill the goblins.
The archers and crossbow men's bow and arrow were made from wooden but had different designs and colors.
They continued to attack. There were more than 10 goblins left.
"Mana arrow, " one hunter with crossbow chanted. He shot the arrow covered with mana at one goblin wearing bone armor. His arrow pierced the bone armor and came out from the goblin's back.
"Physical enhancement, " an archer cast magic that increased her strength to some extend. "Mana arrow," she cast another skill, flowing her mana in the arrow. She shot. Her long arrow flew fast with great force and pierced one goblin coming out from its back, pushing the goblin back and hitting another half-naked goblin behind. The goblins rolled back down.
"Wind cutter," one mage chanted with his long black staff.
A ring made of wind flew out from the magic array and cut one goblin into half from its abdomens and hit the ground making a small hole. The goblin's guts fell out, red blood spilled. Its upper body rolled down a little, painting the pink grasses red with its blood.
"Magic bullets" another female mage chanted and targeted the goblins with her black staff.
A double-pointed bullet-like, blue energy, about 8 inches came out from the magic array and hit one helmet wearing a goblin in the chest. It made a hole in its chest. She shot another one on its neck, another on its shoulder, and missed two.
The other mages also used magic bullets to attack green goblins from far.
Mages were hunters who specialized in long-range magic attacks, binding, powerful attacks, etc. They were weak in close combat and casting magic would take time depending on the magic skill.
Goblins who got hit with magic bullets fell and rolled back down.
Hiro was amazed. He thought, "So this is how they fight - this is how a real battle looks like."
The other hunters except the healer complained, "Don't go killing it all." "Leave some for us, will ya."
Five goblins were about to reach the top.
Shin ordered the long-range hunters to fall back and ordered the frontline hunters to handle the remaining goblins.
"Finally," said Minato and ran down towards one goblin with a long dagger. Before the goblin could attack, with two hands he swung his sword diagonally, cutting its head diagonally. And cut it again vertically from down. The goblin had its head cut in two diagonally and a deep cut on its body.
Kotaru also ran towards behind the one Minato killed. "Mana sword," he cast, covering his sword on mana. He slashed the goblin neck, severing it from his head, it rolled down.
One hunter with an axe, on the left side, cut the goblin's hand, as it attacked, and hit his axe against its chest. He then kicked it, rolling it down with blood.
On the right side, a female hunter with a spear thrust the spear into the goblin's chest.
All the goblin that climbed, charging towards the hunters were stopped. Some had holes made from magic bullets, some were cut into two pieces, some had deep cut and some had an arrow stuck on their body.
The pink grass was red with goblin's blood. There were trails of blood due to the body rolling down. Organs were on the pink grassy ground.
The others hunter complained, "They killed it all." "We won't be able to get one for ourselves if they kill it all like this." "I hope we can take one of these even we didn't kill it." "Hey, let's switch now."
Shin said, " There are still more left, down there, at the ruined place. Let's go."
The hunters slowly got down, passing by the dead goblins, they killed just now.
Hasha walked watching around the dead body of goblins, their organs, heads, half body, and blood.
Hiro thought, "If I were myself, not Hasha, I might have puked already. Still - seeing them, in real life, is ... different. Even though they were climbing while running they were fast and was not tired."
They got down, near the pine trees.
"Oh! look one is alive," said one hunter after finding one alive goblin.
There was one goblin alive underneath the dead goblin who had an arrow in its body. It was struggling. It was the goblin that was pushed back when the front goblin was hit by the powerful arrow. The arrow had pierced the first goblin hitting the next one behind.
"Lucky me, " smiled the hunter. He grabbed his sword with two hands and plunged the sword in both goblins with a force. The goblin died screaming.
Shin said, "Be careful, others must have heard its scream. - let's go."
They walked in where few pink tresses, that surrounded the ruined buildings were. The trees were no so tall, with light brown bodies and pink leaves.
The ground had bones of different beings; some sort of bison with large horns, carnivore animals, etc.
They crossed the trees and stopped near to ruined structure.
The ring shape ruined structure was covered in purple moss and other plants. It was a medium-size, two-story ruined building and in the of it was pink grass ground. One could see other parts of the building through the ruined walls. Animals bones of that world scattered around the ground inside and outside the ring structure.
All hunters were in moving in the same position; frontline, midline, and rear line.
Hasha was at the back in the rear line. He was among the few who were wearing a helmet. He looked at the bones on the ground and thought," The goblins must have eaten them. They must have also eaten the dark elves that used to lived in this building." He stared at the ruined structure, at the top floor, "It looks like the other goblins are here, they're hiding above on the floor, behind those ruined walls - all of them are there, he thought."
While no one sensed, Hasha sensed the remaining goblins in the building.
Shin ordered, "Careful, keep your eyes on top of the building too." He was being careful. He was looking at the top of the ruined building.
Even though the building was only two floors they were tall. The top part of the building was destroyed with destroyed walls covered in purple moss and plants but it was enough for the goblin to hide. Plus, from below they couldn't see who were on top.
"Can they sense the goblins hiding above the floor," Hasha thought, "Should I tell them?" He said, "They are hiding above, on the top floor, behind the walls."
Everyone turned behind, looked at Hasha who was at last.
Minato said, " How do you know? Do you have some sharp sense like top hunters or some sort of scanning magic or device, huh rich golden kid?"
Kotaru added, "Yes! tell us! if you have anything like that? That would be really helpful or are you trying to ride on the leader's statement."
Everyone was shocked.
Hasha was surprised inside but kept his serious expression. He thought, " So sensing and perceiving is something only high-ranked hunters can do, looks like I made a mistake."
Minato smirked, " Look at him staying quiet, he was trying to act cool by repeating what the leaders said."
Even the leader was surprised when Hasha said that.
Shin said, "Ok! that's enough. He said what he thought. And what he said could be true. They may be hiding behind the walls waiting for us to get near the building."
"They are though," Hasha thought.
Kotaru said," Maybe if he is lucky." He turns and asked, "How many missions have you done?"
"This is my first," said Hasha.
Everyone was surprised by Hasha's answer.
"What?" Minato was surprised and angry, "I know we are all E-rank but we are your senior and probably we know more than you."
"Enough!" Shin said, "Let's kill all those goblins and get out here. It would be bad if the source runs away." He thought, "I would send divide them into two groups and send them in a different direction but ... I feel like it would be a mistake since they all are more focused on getting a kill rather than clearing the mission smoothly with teamwork... Was I like this too?"
Shin said, "Let's destroy the building. The mage can use their power to destroy the floor. It would be easy since its an old and already ruined building."
Everyone except mages complained. "No, if we do that we might not get to kill anything today."
Shin sighed, "You know I am this hunt leader right."
Minato said, "Yes but this mission is not that difficult to do such a thing, and besides its real-life training for us. We won't get any experience if we do that."
"Fine," Shin said. He pointed at the hole at the right side, "Then let's go in through that hole over there, walk beneath this tress."
As Shin ordered they walked under the trees, towards the hole on the right side.
As they were walking under the trees. A stone flew down near the trees.
"Watch out," said one hunter.
The stone flew down towards Minato and Kotaru who were not under the small pink trees.
Minato ran and pushed Kotaru, both of them falling forwards.
They got away from being hit. The stone hit the ground and broke.
Then another stone came flying down.
A hunter with a large shield ran towards Minato and Hasha and blocked the stone from his shield. They got up and ran under the trees.
"It's the goblins," one female hunter said.
Many stones flew down from the top floor, from behind the hole in the walls or destroyed walls.
The goblins were at the top, throwing stones.
Shin shouted, "Move back."
The hunters moved back, under the small pink trees.
Shin ordered, "Shoot them."
Archers and crossbowmen shot arrows. Mages chanted for a few seconds and shot magic missile and wind cutter. The attack destroyed the old walls and made the goblins difficult to throw stones.
Shin ordered, "Now, get inside."
Kotaru was furious and ran towards the wall hole, "F**kers, I will kill you all."
All the hunters ran into the hole and got inside the buildings.
Inside, they were in some empty room full of purple moss. They ran forward, through destroyed walls, and go out of there. They were now outside, on the round pink grassy ground, in the middle of the ruined ring-shaped building.
The goblins were on top of the floor. They began to throw stones again.
The hunters moved back to avoid getting hit.
The goblins couldn't hit them that far.
Shin shouted, " Hit them, Archers, crossbow, mages."
Archers and crossbow hunters attacked the goblins at the top.
Few goblines got hit by arrows. One fell back, two fell down on the ground with the shot arrow in their body.
The arrows of archers and crossbow hunters were about to finish.
Then mages finished their chanting and shot the goblin with magic bullets, hitting and killing few goblins.
The magic bullets made them stop throwing and made them run behind.
Hasha thought, " We can go above by jumping beside them. - Is it that they cannot jump that high to get on that floor." He looked around. He saw stairs on left but it was destroyed then he saw another on the right side which wasn't destroy except stone railings.
Calmly Hasha said, "There's a stair over there," pointing at the stairs.
Kotaru felt humiliated before and was very angry because of it. He ran towards the stairs alone, "I'm gonna kill every one of you,". Minato followed him.
Shin shouted, " Wait!" He followed them.
Minato and Kotaru didn't listen. Other close combat hunters also followed them, in the hope to get some kills.
Hasha, the armored male healer, and few hunters stayed with archers, mages, and crossbow hunters.
Hasha watched them running up on the stairs. He thought, " I could just jump and be there already but... I am sure they can handle it."
The hunters got on the top floor and ran towards where the goblins were.
They ran through ruined space which looked like rooms.
The mages, archers, and crossbow hunters stopped attacking. They were tired, out of arrows, and had less mana for another magic attack.
The hunters, on the ruined second floor, clashed with the goblins.
There were 20 goblins, carrying knives and some sharp objects.
The hunters attacked the goblins with their weapons. They cut them with their swords, chopped them with axe, pierce them with spears.
Green goblins were weak. Their strength was in their numbers and for this hunt, there were only 50 of them. It was enough for E-rank hunters to have real experience training.
"The source, the source is here," Minato found the source.
The source was one of the goblins among others carrying a knife.
The source was a monster or otherworldly being that cause the world gate to appear, a portal, connecting two worlds. If they were exterminated the world gate could be closed and if not killed in 8 days, the world gate would be transparent, showing the other world, like a cylindrical world where they could enter another world from it. The only way to the source is, seeing them. It could be any monster from strong to weak. When hunters see the source they get a strong feeling, a strong instinct, telling them that the monster they are looking for is the source. No one knows how the source is decided or how they become one. The source wouldn't know it either.
Right now, the source was a goblin just like others.
Minato felt something when he saw that particular goblin.
Minato ran towards it, "You are mine."
Only that goblin was left, all were killed by others. It was moving back towards the edge, where they were throwing stones from. It was scared as it the only one left. It was at the edge, it couldn't go any further, the walls were destroyed and open. Any more than it would fall to the ground.
From the ground, Hasha saw the goblin and he felt something. He thought, "This feeling, does this mean that goblin is the source. It was in the information that the source was a normal goblin - so this is how hunters feel when they see the source."
Other hunters at the ground also saw the source. They said, "It's the source." "That's the source."
Minato held his sword tightly to cut it with great strength. He moved closer towards the goblins. Other hunters were finished and waiting for him to kill the source.
The goblin got angry. It said something in its language which was nothing but gibberish for hunters.
Holding the swords with two hands, Minato raised his sword above the head, to cut it from top to down. He was about to cut it hard from up to down, a mana arrow pierced the goblin from its back. The goblin fell off the floor and slammed on the ground.
Minato was furious. He shouted, "Who shot that?" He looked down where Hasha was.
A male archer raised his hand, "It was me."
"You bastard, It was mine, " Minato pointed his sword toward the archer, "What if you had shot me, instead of it, you f**ker?"
"Relax, I wouldn't miss such an easy target," said the archer. They quarreled.
Hasha thought, "This is what Brother Ushio told me not to do, doing whatever I want, just like how everyone is doing right now, they just want to test their skill and kill." Before entering the green light pillar gate, Ushio had told him not to do whatever I want.
It was over. The world gate on FE-PE, where hunters were, had a change in the gate. Before the light stream upward now it streamed downward.
Back on the earth, the world gate also had changed. The rapid downward stream of green light was now streaming slowly upwards. It was still night over there.
The area was still sealed. The police and suited men from Hunter Association were outside in a tent. Few reporters were also waiting in their tent outside the sealed area.
Ushio was in his white jeep, by the road. He looked at the upward streaming green light pillar, "Looks like they have killed the source." He got out of the jeep and went to the sealed area.
Meanwhile, in the fallen world, some hunters were taking a rest on the pink ground, somewhere looking around. Two hunters who were injured on the thigh and arm where they had no armor, were healed by the only healer, an armored male healer. A green magic array appeared in front of his hand while healing.
The others hunters were collecting the weapons of goblins or anything useful they could find.
The mission leader said, " As I have said anyone take the spoils, so go ahead take it."
Some hunters were deliberating to take the green goblins dead body or not. They were hesitating to take the dead body whose organs fell, blood was flowing out. So few decided to take ones that have been shot by an arrow.
The hunters took out a white sack-like bag from the brown sack-like storing item. They kept one dead goblin inside and carried.
Hasha was looking at them, carrying the goblin's dead body and bringing it down. He thought, " I wish I could take one as well but ... I did nothing. - I will take one, in another mission after I kill some."
Minato was still angry. He was walking with anger on his face. Kotaru was following him. He saw Hasha in front of him standing with his giant silver sword on the side, watching other hunters bringing down the body, and started walking hastily towards him. He walked towards him and clashed his shoulder intentionally, trying to make Hasha fall.
"Clang!" Hasha's golden armored shoulder and Minato's black and red armored shoulder hit each other, but the one who fell on his back was Minato instead of Hasha.
Hasha didn't even flinch while Minato was on the ground lying.
Minato looked at Hasha who was just standing like a stone.
Hasha starred at Minato with his purple eyes from under the open-face golden helmet. His purple eyes and thick purple horizontal line under it were glowing under the shadow of his open-face helmet.
Minato got chilled in his back for a second.
Kotaru asked Minato, "Are you alright."
"F**k" Minato said and stood up angrily. He stared at Hasha and said, "You useless sh*t. Don't go standing like a statue and blocking my way when you did nothing."
Hasha stood silently, staring eye to eye with Minato.
Minato intentionally clashed his shoulder again and again it didn't work. Minato was the one who was pushed back.
Hasha said nothing. He stood there without moving and stared at Minato without a fear.
"F**k what is this f**ker?" Minato thought. He said to Kotaru," Let's get out of here already." This time he steps aside and walked past Hasha.
Kotaru stood before Hasha and stared right at him. He said, " Don't be proud and happy if you think you found out where those goblins were hiding. You were just lucky that's all." He walks away following Minato.
Kotaru's pride was hurt and felt humiliated when he almost got hit by the stone, thrown by the goblin. And Minato was angry because the other hunter took his kill. They went back where they came from, out of the building. They were headed to the gate.
The team leader saw them leaving, "Hey where are you going?"
Minato and Kotaru ignored Shin.
Shin was frustrated, "This is the reason why don't like doing mission with these E-rank hunters."
Hasha also watched them leaving.
Hiro thought, "I knew those guys weren't good. They did that intentionally. I hope I don't meet them ever."
Shin shouted, "Everyone, hurry up and wrap up everything you are doing. It's not safe to stay here longer. The mission isn't over until we get out of this world. And carry the bag yourself, check again to make sure that the goblins are dead before you carry them."
Everyone was wrapping up what they were doing. They were getting ready to go.
Hasha looked around at the ruined building. Seeing the ruined walls that were covered by purple moss he thought, "Those must be rooms. I wonder what this ring-shaped building was used for, house or other."
The building was too old, ruined, and was like that for more than thousands of years.
The hunters wrapped up. The team leader checked if all were there or not and went back the way they came from, the small hill where they killed other goblins before.
Two hunters were packing the dead green goblin, one each, who were shot dead by the arrow. The hunters avoided the goblins who were cut into half, and whose organs were hanging out.
Hasha climbed that small pink hill that was stained in the red blood of goblins, looking at the dead bodies of goblins, their organs on the ground, severed heads, and the body.
Hiro thought, "Maybe I am in Hasha's body right now, I am feeling nothing looking at this scene. I would be shaking and puking if I were myself right now. Even when those hunters stared at me, I was calm, confident, fearless, and ... sort of angry. I'm sure I would have fallen on my knees if I was Hiro. This body must have calmed or got rid of my fear."
They went back, in the same formation, team leader in front without Minato and Kotaru since they had already left.
This time it took them a little longer than before cause the hunters carrying the dead goblins were slowing them down.
After 30 minutes they reached the world gate.
Hasha looked at the bright green pillar-like gate and thought, "The lights are streaming downward."
The world gate had green light streaming upward before when they enter the gate and after defeating the source it streamed downward.
The leader looked back and rechecked again to see all the hunters are there or not besides the two who had already left. "Good work, you all did great, " he said and entered the World Gate leading back to the Earth. Others followed him.
Hasha, before entering turned back and looked once again to vast pink grasslands. Even though it was daytime, the yellow moon and a small ringed brown moon in the sky were clearly visible. He entered the gate, walked past the streaming green lights, and came out through another, in Earth.
It was still night on there, stars filled the sky and the moon was shining brightly on the village.
