Devil and The---

Devil was said to be the most powerful spirit of evil who represents the ruler of hell.

Rou Lang found herself wandering about the temple. She was confused as to how she got here while she was just watching the match just now. She explored the temple and tried to get her way back out to the plaza. It was empty. No one is here. Usually, some monks are busy sweeping or mopping the floor but not a single person is present. It's like they vanished everything with the sound and motion. And she was trapped in a dark emptiness.

Then she noticed light coming out of a hallway. She went there. The source of light is coming from the biggest room. Inside, the most blinding of golden fire lit the whole area. It was the statue of Buddha. It was shinning so bright like the sun.

Rou Lang adjusted her vision and carefully approached the high strangeness.

But the Buddha opened its eyes and spoke. "THE END IS NEAR!"

Rou Lang gasped. She was back to reality. The plaza is still full of people, and the elders are just nearby. The fight has just finished and everyone is clapping. But she ain't got the mood to enjoy. Her mind was all stolen by dread. She stared at the temple in a distance. It was dark and empty as always.

"Kiddo, are you okay? What happened? You looked spooked. Did you see the Devil?"

"Devil..."

"I guess you really saw him. That's bad. What form did you see him? And what did he say?"

"Golden Buddha I guess. And he said the end is near."

Levi was nearly scared at his wits. He cried out loud. "Aaaaaggghh.... why is it now? Why is it now?"

"Master Levi, what happened? Why are you crying?"

"It's over. It's definitely over." The Master did not say anything after that, making her nervous and worried. What does he mean? What is over? The world is over? My life is over? What? What is it??

Her heart beats faster and faster because of anxiousness. The vision was really scary. The eyes... they were not real. But they were really real. She stared right into the eyes of the Devil. It means, she was next. Only Master Levi might be able to answer her doubts. But he retreated. A bone chilling stare drilled right into her soul. She slowly turned her head.

None. There was none.

Whishhh...

Gasp!

Shadows. Behind her. They passed by into flash. And they disappeared within the haze of darkness. But up there in the distance. Standing on the temple's entrance, she saw someone, a silhouette standing on there. But it was gone in the blink of an eye.

"Master, can you please explain what's going on?"

The Master finally answered. "There's no time. You have to get out of there now. Something is going to happen."

"What's going to happen?"

"I can't explain now. Just get out of there before the doomsday... or doomsnight befalls. Run as far away as possible."

"But what about these monks? I can't just leave them like that."

"They're part of the abomination! They'll all lose their minds and become what they really are!"

"Which is?"

"UNDEAD."

KRRRRRRRRRGGG....

The ground shakes in an intense vibration. It's like it's being shook upon by an incoming force. And the force may not be so friendly.

KRRRRRRRRGGG...

The dojo starts collapsing. Its foundation cracked and with a stronger earthquake, the base broke and down came falling debris. A few of the monks have been crushed underneath while some are caught up on the feet they cried out for help.

"Help! Help!"

The magnitude multiplied and everything was thrown up in a mess. The buildings, the shrines, the racks, and the pile of drums crumbled into fall. Rou Lang's world shook as well and she felt dizzines swallowing her.

"Go get up, girl! A more dangerous outcome is hurling in towards you. Go down the mountain and leave NOW!"

Rou Lang croutched on the ground and hold to it tightly. She breathed in to calm her mind but the euphoria effects never came. Instead, dread began to fill her body. But she must get out of there if she wants to survive.

CRRRAAAACKKK!!!

Even the golden pillars of the temple were not able to hold on anymore and they just broke. The roofs of the temple came crashing here tonight. About fifty people were about to be smashed, including Rou Lang. Luckily for her, she've got a hero. She felt a strong arm gripped around her neck and she was pulled away from the incoming pound. She was thrown meters away.

Cough! Cough! Cough!

Dust arises to overwhelm her vision once more. Only the broken figure of the temple is slightly visible, and the juices of poor monks who were crushed like eggs. Another cough came from her side and she glanced.

There is him. The grinning monk, Jiang Chuan. Though he was not smiling or anything, but he has a serious expression and his aura changed.

The earthquake has subsided a little. Along with a super boom that disrupts her hearing for a minute or two.

BOOOOOOOOOMM!!!

There was no explosion anywhere. Instead, a hand, a monstrous hand emerged out of the temple ruins, punching from inside the ground, and creating a massive hole of about 30 to 40 meters diameter. It caused a great pressure to arise and everything nearby flew up to the sky. And Rou Lang was nearly crushed once more if not for her saviour.

"Get a grip, woman! This place is turning to hell. Let's get out!" Jiang Chuan shouted, but is barely audible among the rockets of smashes and crumbles. Rou Lang understood his intentions and willingly followed out.

"Wushi! Where are you?!" He shouted as he carried her by the arms.

"I'm here! I'm here!", said a miniscule voice who just arrived from the broken temple.

"Did you get it?"

"Yes! Yes! I have it!" On the hands of Liu Wushi is a long black blade which is shining strongly with red runes. But Wushi has covered it around its hilt so he can carry it.

"Let's move out!" Jiang Chuan carried her on the back and ran towards the hundred-step stairs. Wushi followed.

Together, the trio left the collapsing mountains, where the full monastery of Shaolin once stood. But now it was clear. It was all fake. The temple was just a front. And those monks were actually Undead. How terrible is it if Rou Lang actually sleep and they attack her in the middle of the night. Although all of these seems surreal, it was just the way it is, it was the way it was designed. To provide a full protection on the tomb of an abomination raised by necromancy magic. No wonder she get all the creepy feelings wherever she goes. But Rou Lang wonders why they have to take her alive. She shivered at the thought of being used as a sacrifice or even a material vodoo inheritor. It all changed by the arrival of these two -Jiang Chuan and Liu Wushi.

Rou Lang wants to ask more. But there isn't much time. They were still descending at a slower pace. Surely, they wouldn't make it before the full body of the Titan emerges and crushes them. They just ran and ran, skipping all these and that, just so they could descend faster. When they reached the bottom, two horses were already waiting by the trees.

"Let's get on! Miss, do you know how to ride a horse?"

She shook her head.

"That's okay. Just hold on to me tightly and whatever happens, do not look back."

They saddled up and Jiang Chuan cannot wait to move on away as quick as possible. This land is cursed by the heavens. If they don't get out as quickly as possible, they will be trampled on by death. No mercy. To a martial artists like them, they do not have the hope of fighting the monster lord. Thus, the only choice left, is to escape!

Neigh!!

The horse hooves left parallel tracks by the soil. Wind brushes up past the trees and up to the mountain where a raging storm of influx energy whirling. The large hand extended farther and farther, as if to grasp the sky. But out came a shoulder, and a head. Seeing the emergence of their lord, all Undead shivered in fear. They hastily brought down on their knees to worship the monstrous entity bathing in lava. It's cry shook the whole mountainous region.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

It's shockwave caused every tree toppling, and the clouds vanished driven away by the insane force. Under the beastly roar of such a gigantic entity, everyone was to bow down else they'll be crushed like an ant! The skies blazed in glory of light coming out of the underneath the land. The mantle was opened, and the Titan directly emerged from it!
