Chapter 92

The loud, excited whinny of a horse showered her in icy reality.

She panted, her naked chest rising and falling erratically, trying to draw in fresh air that didn't smell like Ty.

Ty unwrapped Mari's legs from around his narrow waist and helped her to stand. It took her a few moments to push away from the barn because her legs didn't want to stop shaking.

Mari's hand's trembled as she arranged her bra and buttoned her dress. She couldn't look up, didn't want to meet his gaze, so like a spineless weakling, she stared down at her own heaving bosom, praying to God Ty would just walk away and leave her to die of humiliation.

"Oh Lord...I'm sorry-I apologize, I didn't-I didn't mean for this to happen." Ty's sincere and heated apology only rammed Mari's humiliation further down her throat.

She drew in another gulp of air and glanced up, ready to lay the blame squarely on her shoulders.
