Chapter 33

Patrick leaned back on Churo's mother's couch and closed his eyes. The room throbbed with his heartbeat and he was sure the house was floating. If he looked out the window he bet he'd see fluffy night clouds and glittering stars.

The girl climbed on his lap and he opened his eyes to focus on her face and the wild tumble of her golden-brown hair.

"Chirp," he murmured.

"No, not anymore. That's a kid's name. Call me Jenny."

"Jenny." The red heart tattoo between her breasts caught his eye and he traced it with his finger while he repeated the name. "Jenny."

She caught his hand with a giggle and moved it lower, between her pale thighs. Something flickered deep in his brain, a warning to stop, but he couldn't understand the message. And when she opened his pants he lost track of everything except the feel of her hot pink lips wrapped around him.
