Shhhhhunk!
The sound of flesh being penetrated was all to familiar to Alistair.
Elena covered her mouth with both hands in shock. "Ali im so sorry." She finally regained some composure and vaulted her way to the ground floor. "It happened so fast, I'm sorry." she reached out towards Alistair.
"Elena I swear, as soon as i fix this troublesome child I'm gonna bop your damn head." Alistair winced in pain when he moved, the arrow had lodged itself through his forearm. Alistair motioned for Elena to grab the girl off of him so he could take care of his own wound.
The girl was fairly small and easy to pick up and move. Elena positioned the girl back on the couch and turned to Alistair. "Can I do anything to help?" Elena was truly worried about him.
"No, no, no ,no ,no, no!" Alistair said with an extreme speed. "I just have this arrow sticking out of my arm, totally normal. Get over here and help me get rid of it dummy!" In the few moments Alistair was speaking, his right arm started to burn brighter. He noticed the arrow was now slowly turning to ash. His wound then began to cauterize at a snails pace.
"Are you intentionally healing that?" a feeling of bewilderment snuck onto Elena's face. Before Alistair could say anything Elena began to speak again. "You only just got your inheritance but you are already adept in a major skill. That is fascinating." she said to much at this point and shut her mouth.
"Woah, hold the phone." by this point Alistairs wound had slowly healed and began to leave a gnarly scar on his right arm. "Why is it you know more about this shit." he gestured all over his body in a dramatic flailing of his arms. "Than I do?" He was upset now, he realized it was no longer a dream and the flames had torched his favorite shorts.
Elena pointed towards Sona. "Fix her first and Ill tell you everything I know, I'm sure she can explain as well."
He made his way to Sona and knelt next to her. Sona's eyes opened and kept a steady gaze on Alistair.
"Can you talk to me while I take care of you, it helps me relax and focus." he said this as Elena sat behind him. He noticed her eyes had moved to Elena. "Don't worry, you're only talking to me. Ignore her for now."
Elena furrowed her brow in jealousy.
Sona smiled a devilish grin as she noticed Elena squirm. "My name is Sona, why do you insist on helping me? I've caused more trouble then I'm worth and I almost took your head off."
Without skipping a beat, Alistair gave her a response. "You did ask me for help earlier. Plus I think you could be of some use to me."
Suna's face turned a bright red. "Listen pervert! You're way to young for me!"
He gave her a confused look. "To young? Are you into grey old men or something? Have you not looked into the mirror lately either?" he finished dressing the few wounds that had opened up. "Anyways, I didn't mean it in that way. But I like where your minds at." He winked at her. "I only meant that you can explain why the fuck you had a tail and ears like a damn cat."
"A fox." Suna corrected him blushing. She changed back into her other form. "Kitsune blood has run through my family for as long as anyone can remember."
"I'm sorry. What the hell is a Kitsune? Is that another term for a furry?" Alisair said jokingly.
"Well whatever your into is cool, I dont judge."
"I swear you are such an idiot sometimes." Elena spoke up. "Kitsune are from Japanese folklore, they are fox spirits. This one in front of you seems to be 250 to 300 years old. They age differently compared to humans."
Suna nodded her head. "That is correct."
Alistair stroked his chin in thought. "Then what are you, how did you make that bow come out of nowhere?" He half pointed at Elena.
Suna shot a glance at her, "He doesn't know? Every spirit, demon, angel, and what have you felt that overwhelming pressure yesterday. You know what they want!" Suna looked back to the man that saved her with wide eyes.
"Then can I assume you're here for the same thing then." Elena stood up, she transformed this time before anything else.
Alistair turned around just as Elena began to speak. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, she had sinister looking horns that protruded from her head. Black wings unfurled to intimidate any who saw. Her teeth produced sharp fangs meant for tearing flesh. He got up in a flash and stood in front of Suna. Flames coated Alistair as this fight or flight scenario occurred before him.
Suna stared in disbelief, the flames coating him were a deep violet color and seemed to not give off any heat. She reached out in awe, her fingertips lightly traced down his back. "They're warm, why aren't they burning me?" she asked baffled at this realization.
Alistair shivered from her light touch, "Hey stop that, now is not the time obviously."
"I mean him nor you any harm." Suna returned to her innocent human state.
"You need to move, we don't know her true intentions." Elena basically pleaded to Alistair.
"We should end her and move on."
"I cant do that." The flames on Alistair flickered wildly as they grew in intensity.
Elena bowed in defeat. "Fine, but you are not to be alone with her." Elena suppressed her demonic traits. "I'm a demon, my family has the blood of Prince Asmodeus coursing through our veins." She finally answered the question he asked earlier. "Unlike us, you have the blood of a Celestial entity coursing through you."
"Celestial being?" Alistair was beyond confused.
