A beautiful day for the city

Steam built up on the glass shower door. Alistair took a deep breath and let the heat occupy his lungs. He leaned back and let the hot water cleanse him.

"I know this is a decent sized house." Elena paused as she let a steady stream of hot water hit her face. "But you should've mentioned your shower was this big." The water trickled down her body.

The shower was large enough for them to move around without getting in each other's way. Each wall had a shower head and the ceiling poured down water which simulated a warm rain.

"I had this house built from the ground up, I spared no expense on my bathroom." he smiled and recalled some distant memory. "As you are aware, I was in the military." his face turned serious for a moment.

"That's an honorable career, you should feel proud. But what does that have to do with a bathroom?" Suna chuckled

"Well after living in filth for 6 years you learn to cherish little things, say like washing yourself." Alistair said with a smile. He remained seated and let the water flow over him. "The amount of sand you could find in places you thought shouldn't have sand is astounding." Alistair stood up and turned the water up slightly, his tolerance to heat increased and the water felt lukewarm to him.

Suna turned around to let the water hit her back. Her eyes settled on Alistair and she noticed the scars that riddled his body. She counted seventeen just on the front of his body. She was curious of the stories and decided against speaking. Her eyes followed the scars up before resting on his chiseled face. His face was soft but intimidating, the only reason she kept staring was because of his eyes. "What color were your eyes before they changed?"

Alistair blinked a few times, he had gotten distracted watching Suna obviously inspect his scarred figure. Before he could speak Elena interrupted.

"They were a beautiful shade of green and it got darker as it got closer to his pupil, they were truly beautiful. His long eyelashes only enhance the beauty of his eyes" She grabbed his cheeks and examined his face. "Now this purple color is definitely equal in beauty." she bit her lip and continued staring into his eyes. He towered over her, and she couldnt help but feel powerless in his shadow. "Stop being so glum, your facial expressions are easy to read." she smiled and spun around to finish bathing.

A smile crept across his face, these two were truly remarkable. Suna was in most instances the quiet innocent one while Elena was the loud outgoing girl. His mind was suddenly filled with another presence, he allowed it to fill his mind. He didn't expect what he heard next, especially not from who it came from.

"You look better when you smile." her back was turned and she was washing her hair, but her thoughts were clear in his mind. "I may not act it but I want you happy. Suna and I are both here for you and we care." She couldnt help but make a smart remark. "Even if you are just letting random women in off the street ill still be there for you."

"Hey asshole, you're not the only one he shares his mind with." Suna spoke aloud and gave Elena a dirty look.

Alistair just burst out laughing, he only meant for Suna to hear Elena speak nicely about her for once. He wasnt expecting the savage comment Elena had made. The shower carried on in silence as they all finished up. Wrapping a towel around his waist, he made his way to the sink and began to brush his teeth. He looked into the mirror to see Suna watching him. He finished his routine before turning to Suna. "I'm guessing you need a toothbrush huh."

"Yup, forgot to bring it after I got ambushed yesterday, which reminds me." Suna was handed a brand new tooth brush Alistair had grabbed from a cabinet. "Sorry, but do you just carry extra for all the women who sleep over." She grabbed his roll of toothpaste and struggled to open the cap.

"Honestly." he grabbed the roll and easily took of the cap and handed it back. "You and little demon lady are the first I've had in over a year."

"Pah, you expect me to believe that? I mean look at you." Suna gestured at his full body with the toothbrush still in her hand. "Taking off your shirt alone would score dozens of women. You also have manners which is rare in this day and age." She rolled some toothpaste onto the toothbrush.

Alistair let out a light scoff. "I just never had the desire. Most of my nights are spent at work keeping myself busy."

Suna spit out a mouthful of toothpaste before rinsing her mouth, "Ohhhh I get what you mean." she nodded. "A busy mind is a distracted mind."

Alistair only nodded and faced the mirror and looked at his own body. He was a mess inside and out.

"We need to be careful, the person who attacked me is still out there and I'm sure they are aware of you now." Suna broke the silence as she made her way to the door. "Elena can be stupid but she was right." her fingers ran along Alistairs lower back. "You can talk to us."

With that, he was alone once again. He closed the bathroom door and took a deep breath. He stared at himself in the mirror and called upon the power inside of him. In an instant his body was a violent torrent of flames, his eyes went completely white. He looked down at his hands then back into the mirror. He noticed his eyes had gone back to their purple color. He focused on returning the flames but didn't have any luck.

He sat there trying several more times before they finally began to die down. This power was amazing but he needed to learn how to control it. The flames died over time and he found himself back to normal. He opened the door and was shocked to see both girls dressed and sitting on his bed.

"Elena let me wear some of her clothes seeing as mine are pretty much tattered." Suna stood up and spun around. "How do I look Ali?"

Alistair smiled upon hearing her say his nickname. Master and sir was definitely not his style. "You want me to be honest?" His toned changed to sound upset.

"Awh do you not like what I'm wearing?" Suna frowned.

"You look amazing Suna." Alistair could hardly take his eyes off of her. The pants she was wearing highly assentuated her perfect legs and she wore one of his old unit shirts. She must've tied it in the back because it fit her rather well.

Suna's frown was quickly replaced with a smile.

"Hope you don't mind her using your shirt, she wasn't keen of any of mine." Elena said. She was in shorts that made her assets look rather well. She was also in one of Alistairs old military unit shirts and wore it in the same fashion as Suna.

With an eyebrow raised Alistair spoke, "And why are you in one of my shirts?" he half pointed at Elena.

She smiled and replied innocently, "Can't I also wear one of daddies shirts." she batted her eyes to put the icing on the cake.

"Daddy huh?" Alistair gave Elena a confused look.

"Mhm." she answered him and nodded.

"Thats a different kink but I'm not one to shame it. I'll allow it." Alistair said as he made his way to his closet.

Allistair threw on a simple pair of Levi's and a maroon v-neck that was fitted perfectly for his body. He laced up some converse and headed back into the bathroom. He motioned for the girls to follow, they happily got up and waited on him. They had trouble keeping their mouths closed.

"Suna, can you explain what exactly you remember from the other day." Alistair was styling his hair when he asked this. He slicked it back and turned to the pair. "Hello, earth to Suna."

"Oh right, sorry." she collected herself and spoke again. "It happened quickly but I was on my way to check you out." she pointed at Alistair. "Not directly you but the Aura I sensed. Which happened to be yours." she was having trouble forming words. "I was attacked from behind and didn't see much before they took off. Thats when I ran into you. Sorry for your phone by the way." She hoped he wouldn't be mad at her smashing it in their first encounter.

"Yea that was pretty fucked up but its whatever." He finished up and turned towards the duo. "You guys ready to go?"

"Uh where are we going?" Elena asked.

"Into Seattle of course, it's a nice day and I want to take my girls on a date. Should we not?" Alistair made his way out of his room with the girls hot on his heels.

"A date?" they both said in unison.

"Did I stutter? I want to spend the day with you both so please play nice." he didn't expect them to abide by his one rule but he didnt want to be stuck inside all day.

The girls glared at one another, it was a love hate relationship but they both wanted Alistair so they agreed to play nice.

He grabbed his sunglasses and put them on his head. He tossed his wallet and keys into his pocket and reminded himself he had no phone. "Shall we?" he motioned towards the door and let the giddy girls go first. He shut the front door behind him and locked it. He turned around and was immediately taken ahold of, the girls each grabbed an arm and walked along side him. He shook his head and smiled.

The fight for the front seat was ridiculous, the bickering finally ceased when Suna agreed to take it on the way back. Elena was making sure suna saw her leaning all over Alistair as he drove. Suna was just cursing her from the backseat the whole ride. As soon as they got into Seattle her attitude changed and her eyes lit up.

Alistair smiled as he watched Suna from the rear view mirror. "How's it going back there?"

"It's beautiful!" she let out with an excited expression on her face.

They eventually found parking at a garage which was surprisingly empty. Alistair cut the engine and turned to face both girls. "This date is equally mine as it is yours, im asking that you both play nice and enjoy yourselves. Is that possible?"

"We won't cause any trouble." Elena agreed for the both of them.

"Good, now let's go have fun." Alistair jumped out of his jeep and went to open the other side.

"That wasn't really necessary." Suna blushed has he helped her down. "But thank you."

Alistair kissed her cheek, "I do it because I want to."

Suna's face turned a deeper shade of red. "He knows exactly what he's doing." Elena thought. She kept this to herself and stepped away from the car.

"Glad you didn't forget about me." Elena give Alistair a half smile.

"You know I wouldn't leave you hanging." he went to give her a kiss but instead whispered to her, "I thought i proved that this morning."

"Don't start a game you aren't willing to finish." Elena hopped into Alistairs arms.

"Who said I wouldn't finish what I started? it certainly wasn't me!" Alistair's voice was confident.

Elena just shook her head and followed behind Suna. She leaned into her and whispered, "Truce for now, once the day is over, I still won't like you."

"Something we can both agree on." Suna snapped back. She was taken by surprise as Elena pressed firmly against her and kissed her. Suna kissed back just as hard before releasing, "Truce then." she gave Elena a warm smile and retreated to Alistair.

Once again Alistair was sandwiched between the two girls and began walking towards the market in the city center. It was going to be an interesting day.
