Chapter 7: Typical Intruders

Jayson and Sodelle cleaned their mess in the forest and went threw the garbage in the bin and went back to the car, Jayson insisted to drive her car and let her rest for a while.

For two years, back in the Philippines, he knew that there's something going on with his best friend's life, she looked so lively, helpful, kind, and self-disciplined, but deep down she's been trying to forget her horrible past, yet her nightmares remain in her head. She fell asleep on their way back home for thirty minutes and came back safe and sound. Sodelle puts on a lively face and gave Jayson a tour inside and out of the mansion along with her seven brothers, she also showed him the stable which is her favorite place in her family's land. After many hours passed, they all went to the living and rested while Dopey complains how big and tiring the mansion is, they all chatted and laughed, told a lot of stories about their lives in London, Sodelle and Jayson were so happy getting along with each other.

It's dinner time, they all sat down in the dining room and ate delicious feasts made by Mr. and Mrs. Wolfe, for Sodelle whom they love and felt grateful having her as their daughter and who finally returned home, she felt also felt grateful for having them as her parents. After dinner she announced that she has something to tell them and asks them to gather in the living room after they fix themselves up before bed, with Jayson coming along, he knew that Sodelle is about, to tell the truth about her side of the story before she blacked out, and when the family is all in one place, she told them what happened, the exact same story that she told to her best friend, the brothers and the parents were in silence and deep shock, although the father hugged her tight and told her "It's okay now, it's over, you're here now, back home" he said, and the mother hugged her as well.

The next morning, Sodelle went out for a jog early while Jayson is still asleep in his room, but the parents on the other hand, especially the mother, barely slept last night after what her daughter told them about what happened to her two years ago, the father thought he failed to protect her daughter and felt like a failure as a father and the same goes the way the mother thought, they felt worried for their daughter's life in the future. The boys, on the other hand, felt more worried and felt bad for being such a failure as her brother, they wished they shouldn't have left her alone at that time, they could've protected her.

While Sodelle is taking a run around the mansion, Doc watches her from his bedroom window covered in a blanket, he watches her sister's every move making sure she doesn't disappear again, then Happy appears out of nowhere leaning by the door that was silently opened "You know you can stop watching her like that from afar right? She's not gonna vanish again like... last time... besides you look creepy as fuck" he told him, Doc grunts and looks at him with an annoyed look, he said "I told you to knock on the door before you come into my room remember? Always sneaking up to people... this is force entry, get out leave me alone damn it." He exclaimed while Happy laughs at him and sits on Doc's chair, while Doc watches and looks out for Sodelle while doing some stretches, he wondered "Back then, If we found her first in the forest earlier in the woods, she wouldn't have to suffer this much pain and fear, she was all alone in that cold dark place, I feel like I failed as a big brother, I failed protecting and watching over our sister" he clenches his fists and blames everything unto himself.

Happy sighed and stands up and walks towards his brother calmly and said "Our pain makes us stronger, our fears make us braver, our failures make us better. You don't have to tell yourself that you have failed to protect her, believe me, we all feel the same way as you do right now. What happened to our sister is terrible and cruel but that's all in the past, she's back home to us, and in the near future, we will be there for her and take good care of her together, as a family. And also have the assignment to do, we have to find that man that she told us about. That's our first step, but as of now she needs us to be there for her, without a doubt" he said his words perfectly giving his older brother a heads up.

A few minutes later, an alarm went off, making a loud noise it woke everyone in the mansion, Sleepy and sneezy went out from their chambers and went to the security room and checked the CCTV footage, they surprisingly see two intruders trespassing and running towards the pond. Sneezy takes all intercoms and heads out from the security room to find the boys, and also ran into Sodelle "Sneezy what the heck is going on!?" she asked, Sneezy gives her an intercom and quickly left saying "Interlopers... Intruders! in our land, they went to the pond, call your friend and go to the living room, while I call out the boys, stay here okay?" and he left off.

After finding each other, the father sent the older brothers, Doc, Grumpy, and Happy out to check out the pond while Bashful and Dopey are in charge watching over Sodelle, their mother and Jayson in the living room, while Sneezy is with sleepy in the security room, the father gives instructions "Find the intruders and bring them to me for questioning understand" he radioed the three. At the living room, Jayson sat beside Sodelle and asked "what in the world is going on Twinie!? What happened?" he said, Sodelle whispers at him "two intruders came to the premisses and went over the fence. Dumb pricks don't know who they're dealing with, the tripped the alarm and the boys went protection mode" she said with a slight joke, then the mother holds her hand looking all worried saying "I know this is a bit too much, but ever since the incident two years ago, the boys and your father planned this protection nonsense for a while, it is embarrassing but they did it for you anyway before you came back" she sighed.

At the pond, the three men split up to check thoroughly where the intruders are hiding, Doc signals the two to watch their six and twelve, they proceed, while the father stands by and Sleepy watches the footage carefully. The brothers checked everywhere and places where they can possibly hide, they checked from the pond to the bushes but the intruders are nowhere to be seen at all, Happy came out of the water soaking wet, before they left and radioed their father, Doc felt something wrong about the alarm, he radioed Sleepy "brother, I think there's something wrong, can you check the footage again?" he said but his brother didn't respond, it sounded like the connection is being jammed on the inside, before they knew Grumpy saw the intruders earlier and runs towards them, the two followed, but they were too late as the intruders are already inside, "boys, have you found them? do you copy? Over, do you copy?" the father radioed the three but no answer as well, all intercoms are being jammed, the father was about to go out the study room with his rifle, but then someone locked the door from the outside, he couldn't open it at all, he tried to kick the door but it's still no use.

But what they didn't expect that there was another intruder, holding a spare key of the house, as a matter of fact, Sneezy was captured and tied up in a room and took the key to the house, the other two came inside from an open window, three intruders came inside the house, Sleepy also noticed the door being locked, he ran to the door and tries to open but it was too late. On the other side of the room, Bashful tries to radio the rest from the outside "Hey guys? what's the situation out there? any news? I think there's something wrong, can you guys hear me!? Damn it!" he exclaimed, "This is so fucked up, What the heck is going on!?". Dopey walks towards Jayson and gives him a knife for protection.

Then suddenly someone came knocking on the door, everything became silent, Sodelle stands up while holding her mother's hand and everyone stopped moving around. The tensions grew while the clock ticks, Jayson protects Sodelle and the mother while Bashful and Dopey walks towards the door slowly, Bashful called out "Guys!? Father!? is that you?" no respond, Bashful looks at Dopey and tells him to open the door carefully, he points the gun at the door to be sure, and when Dopey is about to open the door, they hear a familiar voice yelling "Stop Stop! Close the door! Now!" It was Sneezy who got the mouth gag removed but still tied up falling on the floor trying to warn them and keeps on yelling to close back the door, Dopey closes the door quickly and tries to lock the door, but the intruder bashed on the door with full strength and the door opens wide, the three intruders came in while pointing the taser guns, "Alright folks, we're are not here to hurt anyone in this room, we want one thing from you though, and it's not going to be easy" says the Intruder who seems to be the leader of their team, "If it's money you want we can work it out for you, please just don't hurt us" Dopey replied, the leader shakes his head and chuckled and walks towards someone, "We only want the girl" He looks at Sodelle in the eye, but Jayson blacks him and couldn't let the leader slide, "yeah I don't think so man, not her" he hides her behind his back after saying his words, the leader takes out a knife and lays it on his throat "How noble of you. But yet, I'm asking for the last time and I won't ask again the girl" he smirked and tries to scare Jayson, he won't budge.

But what the leader and his team didn't expect that a knife is also being pointed the leader's back, "You should've said please you know, that wouldn't be a problem at all right? But instead, you trespass my land, barge into my house and scare my mother with such low-class act, and worse, point a weapon to the Wolfe family. And might I ask, who sent you here?" everyone was surprised, especially her mother and brothers, Jayson wasn't surprised at all cause she knew that she would draw the knife that was given to him earlier, although he didn't expect her to be that swift and quick. The leader, on the other hand, said "If I tell you, my team and I were done for" and says no further, the rest of the intruders kept their mouth shut, afraid to tell the truth, but then a phone rings at the pocket of the leader, Sodelle reaches for the phone and answers the call, "Miss Wolfe, I'm impressed of your skills, never expected you to apprehend the leader, though I am sorry for the intrusion and inconvenience that I have bestowed upon your humble home" says the mysterious caller, the brothers were ticked off and pissed while Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sneezy and the father came hearing about the caller, they were furious as well.

Although Sodelle thought about something and looks at Jayson, As if they plan on doing something crazy, after thinking for a while, she started to speak up, "Well, I can accept your apology fully unless you explain to me why you did this to frighten my family and barge into my house, unless you want your men back on a sack with their mouths full of flies... Oh wait, I have a better idea. Since your men came looking for me, how about I come to you quietly and let them escort me to you where you want me to be peacefully, Just me, no one else. Deal?" The mysterious caller laughed and sighed with ease sounding like having fun, and says "fair enough, Deal" the call ended.

Somewhere in someplace dark and eerie, Four men sitting on their throne-like chairs who also listened to the call, the man in the middle said "well what do you know, a little puppy is about to have fun with us" he said, then the man on the far left said "this little one sounds promising, I hope I get my hands on her very soon" the men expect a lot of things from Sodelle, how will she cope with this situation? does she have a plan? what is she going to do? Who knows, maybe they will expect yet another surprising things from her.
