Chapter 52: The Bitter History, Part 1

Bilal landed his pod in one of the private docks that went mostly unused. It had once held the dead bodies of humans that had died aboard the Mothership, either because the virus had progressed too far for the cure to be effective, or because of the civil unrest that had arisen among the humans that had wanted to be returned to earth and had been denied their demands.

That was a bitter time in their history and although the Centaurians now knew how to subdue those that lost control, their senses were still impacted by the violence that the humans tried to impart upon the Centaurians as well as themselves. Because the 'vibrations' of what had occurred still existed in places like this dock, it was a place to be mostly avoided by Centaurians who were receptive to varying forms of stimuli, including what was left behind by violence and death.
