Chapter 21: The Strength of A Mother, Part 1

"What are you going to do if you're stuck here and have to relive your life?" Bill thankfully changed the subject from quantum physics to my current circumstances.

My stomach caved at those words. "Ugh. I don't want to think about that."

"Kenya, you have to prepare. You need to start investing and buying stock. I intend to buy stock in a little company that I've been following by the name of Macintosh. And when Facebook comes around, I'll be owning a huge chunk of that as well. I'm already pretty rich off my current investments, but I expect to be a billionaire when I'm in my twenties. And then I'm going to marry Jennifer Love Hewitt and live happily ever after."

I laughed. "Are you for real?"

He hurried into another room and returned with a handful of files. "I'm already writing novels. Check this out."

I accepted the manila folders and opened the first one. Written across the title page was The Shining.

"Bill!" I exclaimed. "You are not going to plagiarize Stephen King!"
