Chelumebel IV

Akasan followed Lilith through the dark and shadowy halls. The halls were lined with large windows on the right side, and on the left-hand wall there were candles every so often, casting an ominous glow over the dark wooden floors.

Akasan gazed out the window. He noticed that the scenery didn't match what was really outside. Instead of seeing the garden, he saw that the castle was sitting atop a hill, and if you peered out, you could see crashing ocean waves below, and sharp jagged rocks that would kill anyone who dared take a swim.

"Intimidating?" Lilith asked.

"This castle… you created it?"

"Yes. Chelumebel is my domain. Isn't it glorious?"

"Are you taking me to see Beelzebub?"

"Maybe, maybe not."

Akasan stopped immediately.

Lilith looked back. "What's the matter?"

Akasan turned his head, looking at the path he'd just tread. He made sure to double check his surroundings. "The walls… changed. This isn't the same hall we were in a minute ago."
