A Reason to Fight

Heimdall walked lingeringly across his massive throne room. He sighed. "Damn brutes. Who do they think they are? I'm the king around here..." He turned his head as wooden branches sprouted from his marble flooring. "Well I'll be damned..."

Gaia herself took form. "King Heimdall. It is truly a pleasure to meet you in person."

Heimdall swung his arms in amusement and sat down on his throne. "Is it? Normally you wouldn't intrude on a king without at least a warning. If anything I should have you arrested."

"Is that your wish?"

Heimdall waved his hand. "I'm kiddin'. Gaia... nature incarnate. What do you want with me...?" His eyes glowed blue in the shadows of the room, contradicting his previous statement about joking.

Gaia nodded her head. "You must understand, I am here in front of you to ask for peace."

"This is about Ragnarok, isn't it? How did the information leak... you spyin' on me?"
