D.S. TOSSELL is an emotional roller coaster of a reader. She loves any kind of book that will make her laugh, make her cry and more importantly make her think. She is a nut for all things holiday. Loves to cook but cannot bake. She loves to relax and hang out with her husband and watch movie marathons. It only takes five words to drag me back to the desolate dry land of Afghanistan. Five simple words and I'm seeing the blast of gunfire behind my head. Five words and I see her drop right in front of my eyes. Five words causes me to lose myself and revert back into the soldier they made me. Five words.

The man I thought was changing and becoming someone I can confide in and trust, is now reunited with the man he's always been towards me. Cold.


"You're off today right?" He asks in the same cold tone he has been using with me for the past several days now.


"Yes." I answer not wanting to give him much.


"Good. Ghost will be watching over, I'll be at the clubhouse." He states then walks off and heads out slamming the door behind him. I wait the few moments until I hear his bike start up and pull out.
