Training start! (1)

Sakura woke us up early in the morning like sge said. By us refers to me and Sarada, who were still wrapped in a blanket and half asleep. I pinched her lightly, that made her startled and she glared at me. I point towards Sakura and started listening to what our mother were saying.

"Sarada, you're listening right."

Sarada nodded. And Sakura continued.

"So, I was saying, we have to improve your chakra control, so for now go back to leaf exercise."

"But mama that's soooo boring!" Sarada complained as she wrinkled her nose.

"Now now don't be lazy, there's no easy way to become a shinobi." Sakura smiled.

Sarada grunted and groaned but still did as told. She looked really adorable that I couldn't help but smile. Even Sakura chuckle a bit and then with serious face she looks at me.

"And Levi, we have learned this in theory but I'll guide you again alright, now do as I say. The chakra pool lies dormant in th-"

I did as told and close my eye to feel the chakra. Every living creature had chakra. Chakra was ever present, even before Kaguya Otsutsuki ate the fruit. She got the ability to harness it by eating the chakra fruit.

But not everyone can harness chakra. You need to have a pathway called meridian to harness it, so says the book mom gave me. Some people have huge and sturdy chakra pathway like the Senju and Uzumaki, whereas some have blocked meridian or weak meridian like the people of the good Lee clan.

As I try to find the foreign feeling inside me. I could smell and taste something akin to coffee in my mouth. My body kept getting hotter but it was comfortable. I gleamed, thinking I unlocked chakra.

With a huge grin, I opened my eyes.... and there was a sun....

'Damn kami! I got happy for no reason.'

Looking at the yellow sun rising in the horizon, early morning of a clear sky winter made one feel ethereal. The charm of nature was ever pleasant.

"Good job Levi! You have succeed in your first try."

Sakura was all smiles as she praised me. So I did unlocked it. I thought it was the sunlight warming me...

Anyways, Sakura continued.

"And it took you just ten seconds! I'm so proud of you baby." She ruffles my hair. "Now we'll guide your chakra to circulate all throughout your body, this is called chakra cultivation. Now guide your chakra to where I point."

"Okay!" It felt nice being praised.

"A person have 361 accupoint, you must join them to create a pathway that suits you. Now, try raising your chakra to your solar..... done? Okay then bring it up to the thyroid from there break it into two...."

Under Sakura careful guidance, I managed to create the pathway. We did the same thing over and over, then she left me on my own to repeat the process and went to guide Sarada in her chakra control exercise.

I checked my status and now my chakra was unlocked at 'Low level 3 star'. It wasn't high considering Sarada unlocked with Low level 50 stars in chakra. And Boruto must have even more, his prodigious talent has been a talk lately.

I felt a fire burn inside me... a fire to surpass this world and heavens and then rise above them God's favourite children. With more determination, I get back to practice.

'I will surpass you all. Just wait and see!'

We trained untill lunch time and then Sakura had to leave for work, usually I would go with her but I wanted to train today. And Sarada also left for pre-school. They were a bit worried letting me stay home alone and called a nanny but I managed to persuade the two to leave me alone.

Actually, I had other reasons for staying home. Like planned, I practice chakra cultivation for an hour then left for training ground 13. It was the nearest and also the safest, usually a place used to train noble heirs. But it's been empty for days and a new training facility would be constructed in it's place.

Walking deeper inside, there was a huge tree trunk right in the middle of the forest. Not many knew it but I had the system. Finding Energy ore were part of the system's many function. And if the system was indeed true, then the tree trunk was a treasure jackpot.

Sometime the nature chakra would concentrate at one single point and usually that's where shrines are built. But this tree trunk had mysterious power making it blend well with the surrounding so it was never discovered despite being one of best concentration spot.

"360 possible combination...."

The system displays 360 methods to crack open the trunk and get the chakra gems inside. It would have been easier to just use an axe to cut open it by force. However doing that would just disperse the energy and that, would be a total loss.

I send a bit of energy to one of the keys and all of my chakras were absorbed till it dried. The key turned grey, it was a fake key.

"You're called 'the treasure of a year of blood' for nothing."

The tree almost seemed sentient. To get it's content, the person had to fill a key with their whole chakra quantity, but there are more than 300 keys and replenishing lost chakra usually takes about a day. But I was different, I didn't need to wait a whole year to unlock all the key, my instant chakra regeneration would do the job fine.

I can't help but laugh out loud. Heaven was indeed helping me..... or not... I quickly activate hide presence.

"Hey! Did you heard that laugh? Someone's around!" Said a chunin.

"Yes... Stay allert."

Two chunins had come to train and now they were vigilant of me, not that they noticed me yet. I had used my hide presence talent. But then they started throwing kunai randomly.

Puchi!

"Weird... I thought I hit something..."

"Huh? Where?"

"Over that trunk.. let me check again."

With a swish, a kunai was thrown at me and it chopped of two of my fingers and then hit the tree trunk behind me.

"There's nothing there, let's go. This place is creepy..."

"Yeah. Agreed." And just like that, the two left.

The first kunai had hit my thigh and the second one had cut off my fingers. The pain was unbearable, I rolled on the ground and screamed. I couldn't even focus my sight, the pain was just too much.

With the meagre conscious mind I had left, I continued pouring chakra onto the keys. I had to complete it as soon as possible.

The keys filled up one bye one... 50, 58... 70... 123.... 200... 299... 300.

Finally when it reached 300, the tree trunk broke about ten blue-coloured gems fell from it which were quickly put inside my inventory.
