Karim Sissoko is the author of the book series Lightning. He lives in Florida, is of Haitian descent and is attending college for “a piece of paper that proves I’m smart”. Lightning

Angel walked over to him, holding his arm softly and trying to stop him from throwing more stones.


"Storm-stop-just stop-" she said to him, but he refused to look at her and instead screamed in anger.


"Why couldn't she just think things through?! Why couldn't she just listen-!?" Storm said, his face full of anguish. 


Angel hugged him, but Storm stood and pushed her away softly. 


"-W-we need to leave-if that bastard finds us-" Storm thought for a moment, looking to Angel, his heart racing. He couldn't risk losing her too. 


Angel hugged him again, and Storm wiped his tears and heaved a big sigh, trying to give himself an incentive to do something. He wanted to do anything except think of Rena now.
