A waiter arrived and they each placed their order and Garrett ordered white wine. The waiter returned, opened it, poured a small portion into Garrett's goblet, and took a step back. 


"Do you know how to determine a good vino?" Garrett asked. 


"Well, first of all, you sniff it like this." Garrett moved his glass from side to side under his nose while inhaling. "It has a fresh fruity, rich scent. Then you swirl it around and watch how it clings to the sides. That tells you how thick or rich it is. Then the infamous sip." He tipped the drink to his mouth and slurped a swallow. He swirled it around in his mouth then swallowed as he nodded to the waiter and placed his drink on the table. The waiter filled their glasses, placed the decanter in the ice bucket, and stepped away. She was impressed with Garrett's expertise of wine tasting.
