"Now, does everyone remember their positions?" Colin gave the four men last minute instructions, standing just outside the gate. All men nodded. "Remember, do not act until my signal." All men nodded again. "Good luck and God be with you." A moment later, each man left the tight circle to take their positions around the field. Then, Colin turned to Seth. "It is up to you now, son." With that, Seth nodded, and then Colin turned to take his position as well. 


Seth looked up in time to see the two knights currently on the field rush toward one another, aiming sharp jousting poles each at the other as their horses snorted wildly upon approach, then a loud crash as one knight's pole hit the shield of the other, sending him flying off the back of his horse. The roar from the crowd was deafening.
