Seth spent the next two days recovering. He and Briana spent time walking the castle grounds and visiting Kirlin, who had a royal stall of his own. It was amazing how quickly Seth had regained his strength. 


"Wow, we really did a number on these outbuildings," Seth said to Briana, walking past one that had been half obliterated. Just the shell remained. One whole wall was missing and half of another, but two stone walls remained intact. "I should offer to help you fix it."


Briana laughed, holding his hand. "Oh, you should?" she teased with a half smile, but then her expression turned serious. "You know that you do not have to go," she said softly, already knowing his answer. 


"Yes, I do. And you don't know how much I wish I could stay." Seth stopped to look into her eyes and took both of her hands into his own. 


She placed a hand on the side of his cheek. "I know. So
