The next morning, he awoke to bright sunlight streaming in through the open windows. He felt groggy from having slept so long and his head hurt. What time is it? Seth thought to himself, realizing that the way the sunlight was streaming in through the windows it must be later than he thought. Then he laughed and shook his head, unable to believe that Herman had let him sleep in.

He quickly got up out of bed, showered, and dressed in fresh clothes, then headed downstairs. The groggy feeling had left him and he felt refreshed, as he headed down the stairs to the sweet smell of coffee brewing.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Herman announced, smiling, as Seth entered the room. Herman was already sitting at the table, reading the paper.

"Good morning." It was strange to Seth, seeing Herman sitting at the table, with his coffee, reading the morning paper. It almost seemed as if his time in Cambria had only been a dream. It didn't seem real, somehow. Was it?
