"Now," Reece began, "what happened? Why were you passed out in the corridor?"


"Yeah," Bryce said, laughing. He sat back in his chair at the table in Seth's chamber. "At first, I thought you had too much wine at dinner!"


Seth shook his head in disbelief, and then punched his shoulder. Bryce tightened his fists and stood up, but Reese pulled him back down. 


"I took Briana to her room and when I was walking back to my chambers, I was attacked," Seth said, taking a deep breath. Whoever attacked him was careful to wait to attack until Briana was safely in her room.


"By whom?" Reese asked, intrigued. He leaned forward and his long black hair fell forward. 


Seth shook his head. "I'm not sure. I didn't see them."


"What do you mean 'you didn't see them'?" Bryce asked, the punch long forgotten. "Were they wearing masks?" 


"They were wearing full castle armor with their face shields pulled down," Seth replied.
