Then, Seth turned to face the guard he knocked out and pulled him up with a handful of hair. "When? When is Dracon coming?"

"Like he said," the guard said, breathless, as crimson blood streamed from his forearm and back. "At the rise of the next full moon," he took a breath, then added, "and you will come to him. Then, we will come for Briana."

"She is Queen Briana of Cambria to you," Seth said, then asked, "Where is my father?"

The guard didn't answer.

Seth grabbed the handful of hair tighter and pulled his head back firmly. "I said, where does he have my father, Colin?" he demanded, placing the blade of his sword to his throat.

"In the Dark Forest ... by the Great Waterfall ..."

"Where?" Seth pushed the sword closer to his throat until a trickle of blood oozed from around the sword. "Where in the Dark Forest?"

"Okay, okay," the guard said as Seth tightened the grip on his hair, pulling his head back until it almost broke. "In the center of the Dark Forest!"
