Seth nodded, taking the cell phone from her. "Thank you," he said to her, then put the phone to his ear. "Sam?"


"Seth?" Sam asked urgently. "Where the hell have you been, man?"


"Sam," Seth interrupted, "I need you to meet me ... now."


"Where are you?" Seth asked, knowing that he had to leave soon. He had a close call with Mr. Harkins and he didn't need to chance another encounter with an administrator. 


"Sam, listen to me," Seth said, changing ears, "grab Craig. You both need to meet me." 


"Okay ... where?" Sam replied as excitement filled his voice. Seth knew that he was always up for an adventure and wouldn't mind ditching his last class of the year. 


"What room are we in?" Seth whispered to Lisa with his hand over the receiver. 


She ran out to check and came back quickly. "RM 242," she answered, also in a whisper.
